Can an endless narrative have a meaning?

Recently, I read a lot of comics. I realised that these stories just can't end because the writers have to keep the audience engaged. This prompted me to analyse narrative structure which led me to narrative philosophy. I think Aristotle is the one who came up with it.

He said a narrative consists of 3 parts, a beginning, the middle part and an end. I never read Aristotle or any of his work.

Suppose, there is a hypothetical infinite book with a story, can it truly have meaning as a whole without an end?

or is the process more important than the meaning?

What are the things that you have learnt was so beautiful that it expanded your sense of self?

What are the things that you have learnt was so beautiful that it expanded your sense of self?

I learnt a lot of things in my high school. Each subject really helped me to expand my perception of the world. Especially physics, the more I understood about the laws of the universe, the more I felt myself smaller compared to the world. In a sense, it reduced my attention on myself and helped me to see the world beyond.

What are some things that you guys also felt a sense of wonder or beauty about?

Losing interest too quickly

Guys, I have a lot of interests in many things. But I try to read about them then I lose interest.

Is there any way to sustain that interest for the long term. Also, is this because I lack the discipline or are there any other reasons for this?

About Holiness

So, I was trying to understand the **concept of holiness**. I read from the start of genesis. The first time the hebrew word for holiness used in the bible was when God sanctified the sabbath.

And the second time he did it was when God met moses by the burning bush. This place is holy so remove your footwear.

I also saw RC Sproul's lectures of holiness. He said that holiness primarily meant Other, the otherness. A very special state that is completely different from the other.

I then decided to think about the properties of holiness. And one of the properties is that holy objects like bread that is used for the particular rituals can become unclean by touch. Also, a person can be unclean if he touches a dead person. I read these in the Haggai 2nd chapter.

While I read this, I realised holiness is almost like an active state maintained against a corrupting exterior world. This somehow made me connect this with the **Na-K-ATPase** pump of cell. For cells to survive, they have to maintain a constant electrochemical gradient. I realised holiness can also be compared with such an analogy.

The pump that is maintaining the holiness in earth is actually the life of animals. This also complies with the concept of atonement.

I just want to know your opinion. I am just a medical student who just found this interesting.

What is the property of object that enables ownership and belonging?

So, I recently wondered about the ownership and belonging of an object.

For example, How does an object belong to me and owned by me?

Because there are different ways we can reason as to how belonging of an object can be assigned to a person.

One of the reasons I thought is usability. So, I know that I own my pen because I use it.

I am new to philosophy and I am just curious about it. Let me know more about this.
