LOVE this figure by Hot Toys. The metallic blue of the cowl, gauntlets, and boots looks soo sharp/kool; all 4 of the face plates look amazing; the cape drapes awesome; the display base with the bat swarms that you can adjust and the Bataymbol; not to mention it’s the 100 year anniversary Batman figure…I love it ❤️.
Have a whole bunch of LEGO sets spread out all over the place; working on organizing them in a way to display them. My dad got me this dope, bad ass case for the 66 Batmobile ❤️ 👍!! Now I just need to get some for all my other Batman LEGO’s like the 89 Batmobile, 89 Batwing, Shadowbox Batcave, Tumblur, Batman Portrait, BTAS portrait/skyline, Batman forever Batmobile, and Batsymbol 😆.
Got all kinds of other Batman stuff I plan on displaying all of it together for a badass Batman collection/display/wall in my movie room one day. Instead of getting individual cases for each thing (LEGO sets/figure), I might just want to get some giant, multi-level, display cabinets to organize/put everything on. I think I want to get an individual display case for the 89 Batmobile at least (maybe Batwing & Tumblur too) to match/go with the 66 Batmobile; the specialized case for it really does add to it and make it pop soo much. I feel like I should have at least 1 other vehicle in a “matching” case; plus the 89 Batmobile is my grail/baby lol
Just started adult collecting back in March. I don’t have much out on display yet because I don’t have a display case/shelfs to fit everything (or much of it even for that matter). Still was excited and wanted to share this list to show how my collection is growing so far.
In case you couldn’t see/tell, my main focus is Batman❤️😝. Keaton/Batman Returns is my favorite and the first figure I started with (MMS770), with 89 Batman being my second (MMS693). There’s a few pictures I took of them once I got them; but I have them back in their box’s for now until I have a good and large enough case for them. So far I’ve added all my Hot Toys to the list, but I haven’t added the BK (Beast Kingdom) figures yet. I’m hoping/planning to do that today and might actually/probably will open a few that I have multiples of.
Please me know if any of the Hot Toys on my list have issues I should be aware of; or if there are any I should keep MINT unopened; or any I should open for some reason. I obviously want to keep them as valuable as possible, but I DO NOT plan on ever selling any of them. Idt I have any “super rare”, expensive figures…but if there is one that is special for some reason or worth not opening; I’d like to know still 🤷♂️.
Hopefully pretty soon I will get some case(s) to display more than I currently am, and I can start posting figures out on display. I am looking at getting the new Jazzinc Catwoman and Penguin that are up for preorder right now. I got the MMS770 2.0 Batman Returns 2.0 deluxe for my first Hot Toys figure, MMS693 2.0 89 Batman for the 2nd; and I want a Catwoman and Penguin to go with him.
I’ve been debating which versions to get and was just looking at them on JAZZINC’s website…and saw “999 no (shipments to the US)” 😦. Does this mean we can’t preorder from Jazzinc in the USA; and/or is it saying it is going to be over a thousand dollars?!?!?!?”
I RRRRREALLY wanted to get a version of each of these, as it’s my favorite Batman film (born the month and year it came out) and I know JAZZINC makes them to order/only makes the amount people preorder…so I won’t be able to get one if I don’t get a preorder put in…unless I want to pay INSANE resale prices (and idk how many people are buying them to resale anyways; honestly I don’t think many people are).
Has anyone in the US preordered these???? Or does anyone know if we can’t in the US; if it’s going to be 1K just to get it here….just any info on preordering from JAZZINC in the USA 😭 🤦♂️ 😂
My Beast Kingdom Batman collection just really took off!!! Going to open 1 of all the ones I have 2 of at some point; not in a rush right now 😂. Ik some people have issues with them; but I think for the price and everything they are really dope. Plus, I love the display boxes.
Also the MEZCO 5-point Wave 1 figures + Batmobile ❤️!!!
My Batman collection just got a MASSIVE update/increase!!! Shout out to the best dad out there 💯!! Not the best pictures of them; just was excited to get them out and get them in cases to display.
I got more new ones; but I’m not sure which ones I’m going to open for one; and for 2 I don’t have cases big enough to fit most of the other ones. They all have bases/dioramas that are bigger than the cases I have these in.
What are people’s opinions on these?? I love them and don’t think the capes need an upgrade; what do other people think?? Also, any advice on some reasonably priced display cases would be appreciated.
I finally/just got to where I could start collecting figures as an adult back in early March. So far I have bought & received 3 different Hot Toys and have a 4th preordered. I started with each of the new 2.0 Deluxe 89 & Returns Keaton Batman’s (MMS693 & MMS770), then the 2.0 Darth Maul with Sith Speeder (MMS749), and preordered the new 2.0 Qui-Gon Jinn.
I don’t have a good, protective display case to put them in yet; so right now they are all safe in their boxes. My question is; what are the main issues I need to worry about when it comes to preserving these figures and keeping them looking prestige?? Ik I want them in a case to keep dust off them; but is there anything else I need to be worried about or should be doing to keep these looking their best??
Like for instance; is “light damage” something I should be worried about with the these figures?? I’m trying to decide what type of case I get; if I get one that has built in light up features; should I be worried about how bright the lights are, how long they are on, how hot they get, etc.?!?? Do I want the display to be see through/glass on all sides; or would a case where some of the other panels are solid, preventing outside light from directly hitting the figure???
Any advice for the specific figures I have, or just figures in general would be appreciated 🙏. Obviously we are spending a lot of money to get these figures; and want to keep them looking their best. I will say I ALREADY KNOW about the Batman Returns (MMS770) having issues with the suit peeling/flaking; especially where the belt rubs against the suit.
I just got my first Star Wars Hot Toy, MMS749 2.0 Darth Maul with Sith Speeder; and preordered the new Qui-Gon Jinn. I’ve seen stuff about people upgrading to 3rd party/custom lightsabers and I had some questions: is it really worth it to upgrade the lightsabers?? What about then is better?? Are they just brighter, or is there something about the way they light up that makes them look more realistic?? And then what company makes the best ones (for the figures I specifically have, or in general)??

Ik they have already released/announced quite a few Star Wars figures over the past couple of months, so I’m not sure if we will be getting any more new announcements/drops for the actual date [May 4th].
As someone who just got the new Darth Maul with Sith Speeder 2.0 as my first Star Wars hot toy; I’m personally REALLY hoping we get a Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi or a Qui-Gon. What are some new figures you guys are waiting on and hoping to see for May the 4th?!?!?!?
