My latest piece — natural black Ethiopian opal pendant in 925 silver, that red/green fire play

Just finished this one and had to share before

it ships out.

Natural black Ethiopian opal — oval cab, 2.85ct,

10x8mm. Set in 925 sterling silver with an 18"

chain. The fire play on this one has strong red

and green flashes that shift with every movement.

What I love about black Ethiopian opals for

pendants is the dark base — it makes the fire

look like it's glowing from inside. White opals

are beautiful but black base takes the color

play to another level entirely.
