KEF 103.2

KEF 103.2

These KEF 103.2 speakers are available on marketplace a 10 minute walk from me. They’re up for £100 and said to be working, but given their condition and she hasn’t tested them for a while I think I can probably get them for less. I’ve wanted a good pair of wooden cased vintage 70-80s speakers since I started getting into music and audio equipment, and from what’s said about them online, this seems like a unique opportunity to satisfy that itch.

Any experience with them? Is this a good deal? Any thoughts before I send an offer for them?

Thanks

How to reset Samsung without code or email

I just bought a Samsung A40 off marketplace. It was dead when I bought it, only £20 so thought I’ll risk the scam. It’s fine, charged up, but it hasn’t been reset. I’ve asked for the code, she apologised and said I’ll have to wait for her partner to get back as it was his phone, I’ve not heard anything since after sending a few nudges her way.

I googled it and it says if I factory reset it from holding power button and volume up button etc I’d still need their email and password to factory reset. So am I stuck or is there a way I can get this unlocked or reset.

Thanks

I currently have a pair of Dali Oberon 1s I bought for £60, on a desk setup in my bedroom. Please slate the setup if it's all wrong, I'm constantly playing around with it so likely have something wrong. But I'm struggling to feel satisfied with them. They're amazing, very clear. But I'm just wondering if they're just not the right fit for me. I have them connected to a NAD 3020D, then USB to my macbook where I'm streaming highest quality on tidal.

Today a pair of Wharfedale 220's in great condition, almost perfect tbf to the guy, boxed and all, for £85 came up in my area (UK) on marketplace. I've done a quick google, and found people describe them as warm, which is what I've found myself wanting from the Dalis. I find the Dalis a bit too precise or too clean, like I'm listening to music or hearing music, but not exactly feeling it. I mostly use them in the evenings on lower volume. I listen to all sorts on them, but given I mostly use them at night, I tend to listen to 'chill' music. Like last night I was playing some blues and getting quite annoyed that it wasn't hitting. I was dreaming of some vintage Wharfedales and a crackly vinyl. Basically wanted that warm hug feeling.

The problem is though I don't just want them for that reason, I do use them in the day and play all sorts, so don't just want warm sounding speakers, but I want speakers that can satisfy that warm hug itch.

So now Im debating selling my Dalis and replacing them with the Wharfedale's. Any thoughts, or if there are things I can try to adapt the Dalis, or any other speaker suggestions, would be much appreciated.

Thanks
