Hi all,

This is something that has been hitting heavy on my mind, it’s gonna sound totally unserious, but I genuinely need to know the answer.

I had a C-section with my first and with this current pregnancy I am hoping for a VBAC.

Well, I am definitely someone who will poop during labour, it’s a given for me. But what I’m wanting to know is

If you poop during labour, do they wipe your bum for you? Or is that just left and you’re then sat with poop all over your bum? I can’t imagine just having to sit there in my own poop ‘remnants’ until I next use the bathroom?

I know they don’t tend to tell you that you’ve pooped, if they did tell me, I’d obviously just get my partner to wipe for me. But I just need to know, do they wipe or do they leave it?
