Has anyone ever ended up having a baby with one person while the person you actually wanted a future with was someone else?

I’m curious if anyone has been in a situation like this because my emotions are all over the place.
There’s a man I’ve cared about for about four years. We’ve never officially been in a relationship, but we’ve always found our way back to each other. We’ve traveled to see each other, visited each other in different states, talked about almost everything, and he’s drove over a hour to see me & pick me up from the airport before. I’ve spent time with him around 10-year-old son, and seeing him as a father made me like him even more. Throughout the years we’ve both dated other people because we never committed, but there has always been a connection between us.
Earlier this year, my ex came into town. We had sex one time. I was extremely drunk that night, and he actually took care of me the next day.
Not long after, I found out I was pregnant.
The man I’ve liked has mentioned a baby with us a few times over the years. When I first told him I was pregnant, he wasn’t angry. He was surprised and kind of playful about it. At that point, I told him I was thinking about having an abortion because I was scared, and honestly that was my immediate reaction.
Then I realized I had also slept with both men during my fertile window, so I wasn’t sure who the father was. I paid for a non-invasive prenatal paternity test through PaternityLab, but afterward I started seeing a lot of negative reviews about the company, which has made me question whether I can fully trust the result. The test says my ex is the father. And honestly I don’t want a relationship or child with my ex. That was a relationship I had to literally fight to get out of and I’ve grown and achieved so much since. But out of stupidity & liquor I slept with him one time on a drunk night after not seeing him in a whole year. And he wants the baby so bad.
Now I’m struggling with everything. And the guy I like had reached out to check on me but I just haven’t responded.
If the result is accurate and I continue the pregnancy, I feel like I’ll be having a child with someone I never envisioned building a family with. At the same time, I worry that it could permanently change whatever future I might have had with the man I’ve cared about for years. On the other hand, I’ve also seriously considered abortion, but that’s an incredibly difficult decision for me emotionally.
Has anyone been in a situation where you had a child with someone other than the person you truly wanted to build a life with?
