Just become a PA for my best friend (with total blindness) and her new baby. I want to do my very best for them both.
London, UK
I’m a PA for both her personal life and her work (she’s an advocate for victims of abvse) and a lot of the system is completely inaccessible even with screen reader.
My friend is hands down the best human I’ve ever had the pleasure of being around. I am humbly asking for any advice at all. I’m still getting my head around small things like having pram in one hand, friend on my arm, watching out for cars and people and objects in her path etc
She’s 28, I’m 35, baby is 3 months. Just started the job a week ago.
They both deserve the very best so I am open to any and all advice on how best to do this job.
Thank you to all in this sub
