M1 MacBook Air (2020) won’t boot/install OS

I recently acquired a M1 MacBook Air that keeps going into the “Apple support” boot screen even when trying recovery mode. I’m tried DFU mode and I got this error. Has anyone experienced the same issue?

I’ve been having my canon RP for a little over a year now, and it’s been developing this issue where if I use the flip out screen it freezes and take a bit to turn on again. But if I use the Viewfinder, it works perfectly fine.

Firmware is 1.6.0, I’m using Original Canon batteries, no attachments (flash/Grips), eco mode is off
