How much of Olave’s production will be eaten up by Tyson? Will the saints have too many mouths to feed with Tyson and Etienne now at RB? Or do you think it doesn’t matter?
Alternatively, do you think this is a good thing? Will a better all around offense equal better production? Are you trying to get Tyson on your team for injury backup or in case he breaks out?
Both a general question and a question for my team specifically. Obviously the talent pool in the 2027 draft is supposed to be an all-timer, but how much truly will a 2027 first be worth in the end? Especially in non-sf leagues, obviously Smith is the coup de grace and there are a couple other non-qb’s who will pop off next year, but will it be like this year where it’s 1.01 or bust? WILL this year be 1.01 or bust? Is an early first this year worth selling off for a chance at a decent pick next year?
I’m in a 10 team 1qb league, and am a heavy contender. Through trades last year I have the 1.03 in this years rookie draft, so unless something crazy happens I’ll be getting my choice of Lemon or Tyson (and I’m leaning Lemon which I know is unpopular). I have a feeling I could trade away my 1.03 to one of the bad teams in the league for their 1st next year, but is it worth the risk? Or would you just take Lemon or Tyson and see what happens.
How much more valuable is a 2027 1st round pick vs a 2026 first round pick? I know the 2027 draft is “stacked” but a few years ago the 2026 draft was supposed to be “stacked” and look what happened, Nussmeier regressed, Manning waiting a year, so many rookies went to mid-bad landing spots, etc etc. this is all to say, is the 2027 draft going to live up to the hype?

I like Makai Lemon who will probably be the person available to me at 1.03 (or Tyson, take your pick), but would it be worth it to trade away a guaranteed early pick this year for even the chance at an early pick next year?
