I know Mojang didn’t wanna create a whole new renewability mechanic just for Cinnabar, but it literally could have just been this simple...

Rather than dividing the new blocks in the chaos cubed drop by renewability, and relegating cinnabar to the realm of nonrenewablity alongside deepslate, tuff, and calcite, they could have just given us one of these crafting recipes.

Sulfur(1) + Granite(1) = Cinnabar(2)

Sulfur(1) + Netherrack(1) = Cinnabar(2)

Sulfur + Redstone Dust = Cinnabar

Sulfur + Red Dye = Cinnabar

Which of these recipes(or any other one) do you feel like would have made the best addition to the game? Or do you think cinnabar belongs to the realm of nonrenewability?

Edit 1: Yes, I know netherrack isn’t technically renewable, but with how much I have laying around in chests, I’d be more than happy to have another use for it lol

Edit 2: Technically, netherrack is renewable in Bedrock!
