John and seraphina were just as bad as the royals.
before i get fucking killed let me explain my point of view
most readers tend to forget that sera in the beginning of the story was very very entitled , she made fun of vigilantes, didn’t help low tiers and was blind sighted to the hierarchy. I dont hate sera at all but the only reason readers don’t say anything is because John didn’t go crazy at her. ‘butt.. sera got character development!’ and you can’t say that and at the same time think that the royals didn’t and that they only got better because of John beating them up if that’s the case then sera should get the same exact hate because it’s literally the same thing.While I don’t agree at all with what Arlo did to John at the start( the ambush) if you guys reread it there was a chapter the showed that Arlo previously did the same thing to the other high tiers(not the main cast) when he first became king because they acted ‘out of order’ and would listen to him.To Arlo , it was the same exact scenerio however yes he was wrong it was not his place and of course John had his trauma but I think we can all agree Arlo redeemed himself.I can discuss the rest if anyone is interested .
