Here are the new and interesting things I saw this weekend in Phoenix.

Watching over the park in my neighborhood in north Phoenix.

I picked these up in the deli section of my local Safeway grocery store for $4.99 on sale. They were very good, especially for that price. The olive oil was high quality and the fish where a nice size and definitely filled the tin. The fish was firm but spread on toast easily and was moist and not too salty. Very visible bones if that is not your thing. I would absolutely pick these up again for that price.

The baby Lovebirds in Phoenix are out and enjoying the free food.

Just a heads up to folks that have a Safeway in their area, I got these Jose Andres tins on sale for $4.99 each. Found them in the deli section of the store. Have a good weekend all!

I love the Trader Joes chickpeas with cumin and parsley and was so stoked to see these at Aldi. I am confident these will be the same or very close to the TJs version. I love these for dense bean salads or to toss into pasta salad.
