My disposal started leaking. I removed the flex coupler and it was cracked, so I ordered a new one and didn't think about whatever this is in the pics. Well new one arrives, lo and behold, it is still leaking.

So my question, is this disposal shot and I need to replace it, or is there something I can use to create a water tight seal and make it last a little longer.

My wife purchased this Meyer Lemon last year and put into this pot. Ive remembered to pull it inside if temps were down to freezing, but there doesnt seem to be any growth. First citrus tree and I dont know where to begin. Thank you for your help!!
