How can I fix the Thermal Chipping or Alignment issues?
I finally have the depth to where I want it, but the way the text has a shadow effect is undesirable.
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. I’m open to any tips as I’m still new to this. Thanks.

Burned through Sig Sauer Lower
I have an omtech 80w mopa fiber optic laser and I have been working on stippling some handguns with an aggressive texture and different patterns. I feel like I have dialed in when working on a Glock frame, but when I used the same settings on the Sig Sauer, it didn’t even vaporize the polymer.
After tweaking the power and lowering the frequency, I still wasn’t having any luck…
I loaded some previous material settings and hit start - immediately, a fire started! I hit the red button to abort because Lightburn just happened to stop responding at the same time I needed to stop the operation.
Talk about a learning experience. Going to try again tomorrow, but does anyone have any advice?
