Why do we continue to have festivals and events in the humid swampass hell season?
Houston is very wonderful the other half of the year. If anything, that is our superpower. So stop having things in the hot season!!!

Something like Autocamp where it’s almost like a hotel. I know the policy says “camping fees” are covered — would this count? Who has successfully gotten this approved?
I’m planning on visiting Alba around the 3rd week of October, partly interested in going during the Alba White Truffle Festival.
I’d like to stay in another town (Guarene), but concerned about traffic and parking whenever I want to go into Alba, especially during white truffle season.
Is anyone able to comment on how difficult parking in Alba really is? If it’s a pain to do every day, I might just decide to stay in Alba.

I’ve been to Albi within their first year of opening and in no way did I think it was worthy of being in the 50 Best list (beating out Atomix and Cesar, mind you) nor deserving of a 1*.
Has it changed drastically in the last few years? Anyone agree or disagree who’ve been?
