Hey recently got my 2023 x3 m40i and i love it but on comfort when i am at a stop and give it gas its pretty jerky. I read that could be auto stop start and or auto brake hold. One fix it to run sport custom settings.

Its my daily so im not trying to kill mpg, especially now with gas prices. Id like to just have a smoother transmission at lower speeds/gears. If its just the motor style i can live with it.

So what do you run for daily settings?

What do you run for fun drives?

I bought a bmw from a dealer. I bitched alot to get the luxcare xt removed but they pushed back about it alrdy being applied and yadayda. In the end i got it discounted but its on there. Im wondering what it is, or more so how should i start cleaning my car until i can afford ppf or ceramic coating.

Do i use a product like active foam or frostbite to remove it first then do a good wash and then a seal/dry aide?

Do i run it till it wears out?

Do i clay bar? Id like to keep this vehicle as nice as possible

Hey there, id like to swap my rotors and brakes out when i get my 2023 here soon. It has 48k miles so im anticipating rotors needed.

Its gonna be a daily driver but i wont baby it like an old person.

I hear the bmw rotors and pads are dust generators. Is there better options? I see there is a 3k upgrade to bigger rotor kit but i dont wanna do that yet.

I have the nicest car ive ever owned coming in two days 2023 bmw x3 m40i. New to me. Its got carbon fiber interior as well as sensatec plastics and vernasca leather seats.

Outside is brooklyn grey with all black trims. Not sure if that matters.

So far through my research both koch chemie and p&s are highly regarded. So i choose to try p&s first

I like covering my key fob to protect them since they are usually expensive and or a pain to replace. Getting a m40i 2023 soon so i want to grab a pair of key fob protectors. Any suggestions?

Hey there. Have a 2023 x3 m40i with 48k miles on the way. Its got all maintenance up to date so far but i see brakes may be due, spark plugs at 60k so thinking of doing those anyways, differentials probably due soon too.

So for oil changes i dont mind grabbing oem oil as its not really too expensive.

Not sure if oem spark plugs are best or if theres a more durable or longer lasting brand

Brakes and pad suggestions for a daily m40i are suggested. I have seen some use different brands that dont wear as fast.

Differential fluid, should i grab oem or is something like redline better?

Tires. It has new tires from dealer but idk what kind tbh. I see people get rid of run flats off rip for some reason. I live in michigan and liked mt cross climate 2 on my crv but not sure if that kind of tire would be a solid pick for a m40i.
