Finally! My trial of position is finished! I now comfortably have a battlefield ready reinforced supernova of all the mechs I think called out the most to me for clan ghost bear from my collection. Now to start working on my next project soon which should be either Federated Commonwealth or Comstar.
This one has been on a back burner for a while, got a mad dog, and Kodiak finally and decided the nova would be hilarious to throw in the mix as their "hot tempered star commander"
Hopefully once I get the solahma tau galaxy star and the other 15 elementals i have finished I can do a family photo
Kantor blue torso and Tried drybrushing downstream over mechanicus grey for the limbs but I might need a brighter highlight, dont want to go too bright accidentally since I like the dark look of pristine rear line machines that havent been all faded and worn out from honorable combat :)
Will get based to match the rest of my forces soon when I get more pva glue since my whole bottle solidified (?!)
Checked out a local store today with a buddy and the only ancients the owner had were these and for $10 each figured they seemed cool enough, anybody have any information maybe? Google lense shows them as being similar to some 2-300 AD roman coins it suggested but I have a hard time telling differences at the moment, still learning!
Trying to slowly put together something resembling a mech warrior costume for clan ghost bear! Need to figure out a flak vest still with the funny bear claw epauletes and repaint neurohelmet but besides that om pretty happy so far for mostly being found items online and not much need to tailor/craft my own
Love when 2 of my favorite series share the same props somehow, shout out to the mobile infantry flak armor just being the best scifi armor out there, also makes me future battletech cosplay easier 🫡
