What IF

What IF Iruma succeeded in saving Shura?

What would their relationship look like in the series? What would Shura do with Iruma? Would she try to keep him to herself? Would she try to take him out of Babyls?

This can lead to a great redemption arc if done properly

As we know from Narnia’s introduction and almost every appearance he’s always shown extreme demon supremacy and hatred towards other races

Especially humans believing them to be the cause of much discourse in the Netherworld

However from this chapter we see Narnia either holds hatred or fear towards his father likely towards his inhumane experiments

So Narnia could either be acting as a necessary evil, acting like a cruel supremacist to drive Iruma away because he know what’ll happen if he’s caught

Or option 2: Narnia does believe in demon supremacy and thinks lowly of other races but doesn’t wish his father’s experiments upon them

How a redemption arc would have to be Iruma showing Narnia his demon side and greed which is something all demons have so maybe Iruma could get a second familiar of Narnia somehow which could be the best way for his arc to go

Not much of a Powerscaler but if Jaehwan destroyed the Tree of Illusions doesn’t that make him relative to the [Star Stream]?

[The Dark Magician Transmigrates After 66666 Years] this is the worst twist of whatever you’d call it

Context: MC father just died and MC went on a full edgelord by absorbing a demon lord’s power and killing a god followed up by this bullshit line

The whole story for over 180+ chapters was about him learning to cherish the life he was given and accept people’s help and support and be a happy person

But nope author decided to throw away all that character development with the most edgelord plot line

The Apostles deep dive

The Four Apostles are deeply rooted in the lore of Gachiakuta and are most likely the key figures to understanding how whatever happened that caused such a diverse tract in humanity

Let’s dive in

We have The Undertaker: Canis Surebrec current status, likely the Watchman who resides at the Border of the Sphere and the Ground. Gachiakuta has many relations with greek mythology as seen by Surebrec being Cerberus reserved and how Enjin’s slave name when decoded can be traced to many Greek monsters such as Chimera, Trago, and Ophis and also Zodyl’s last name Typhon which is a Greek creature that created Cerberus alongside Echidna. What we currently know about Canis is that he created the Watchman series (not its true name as directly stated by Tamsy who has no relation to the Apostles but rather likely a servant of God via his Angel role) and that he has similar scars like Rudo likely having to do with the Surebrec curse, however the deeper picture is his Will

“I couldn’t do it. I couldn’t stop the humans. All I could do was bury them. I… My dear children. Your father has to go break this chain. So please. Please. Live happy lives.”

Canis’ Will is very important in how it gives us lots of opportunities to figure out the secrets of the Ground and the forgotten history, from this we learn 3 things

  1. Canis refers to people as humans not ‘people’ likely having to do with his Apostle status and how he was effectively different from humans and that the humans likely revolted against the Gods and Canis tried to stop them but was forced to kill
  2. Canis has to “break a chain” maybe implying how the Apostles were rather slaves to the Gods and not beings of their free will and everything that happens on the Ground by design of the ancient rulers and Gods
  3. Canis pleaded with his children, begging infact likely meaning that Surebrec is very important to the Gods/Ancient Rulers that Canis didn’t want to involve his family in his own faults

Now from a different translation of the manga we have the scratched out part translated

“Consumed by hatred, why am I the only one to atone for the sin of these corrupt humans? Since they have failed to preserve the city of heaven, I entrust it to you.”

The city of heaven 100% refers to the Sphere and the sins likely mean how humans fought against the Gods however the consumed by hatred line is now very important as the last line of Chapter 172.2 is this

“The most terrible creature in this world is a human being. That is why the world… is so filled with anger”

Now this most likely means Canis was being consumed by the hatred/anger of humanity for the Gods and that he was the only Apostle being punished for these sins possibly because Canis helped the humans to commit a revolt. As for why Canis was entrusting the Sphere to his children may have to do with a deeper picture in how Sphere rulers work

Now Canis’ mythological counterpart is Cerberus the gatekeeper of the Underworld relating directly to the Watchman who keeps watch at the Border between the Sphere and Ground. As for his status we know the current successor

The current Apostle of Undertaker: Rudo Surebrec

Now we go onto the next Apostle Spellcaster Macaca Icol, from what we know he is the Spellcaster who established Canvas town six generations ago and has passed down his vital instrument the Pen which can take on a multitude of forms depending on the users own thought process, we also have the Spellcaster Mural which the Spellcaster draws how they see the world in their day

If you go on the Spellcaster part of the Gachiakuta wiki you will see a image of Volume 11’s extra illustration of the mural and from that image we see 5 distinct figures each figure looks unique and inhumane which means this is likely part of Icol’s mural and the Gods that the Apostle’s served now each figure looks very distinct and inhumane and in the center is a sixth figure looking like a pillar of sorts

Now there is one theory behind these six figures they either represent the Gods or the represent Cerberus and their siblings and creators

You have, Cerberus, Typhon and Echidna the parents, then the three core siblings of Cerberus which likely represent the other Apostles, Orthrus, Lernaean Hydra, and Chimera this is what can be concluded about the figures

Now Icol’s mythological counterpart isn’t Greek and we aren’t going to connect him with Loki the Norse mythological god of trickery I connect Icol with Genius Loci which is a guardian spirit that protects places which perfectly lines up with the invisible protective barrier over Canvas town that prevents anyone with bad intentions from entering and it could be that Icol still resides in Canvas town as a spirit that enters the minds of the people entering to determine their business via Soul communication as seen with Gountess’ Watchman ability

The current Apostle of Spellcaster: Remlin Tysark

Next we have The Nameless Recorder whose identity is very likely Kuro the information broker who knows all knowledge in the Ground no matter what the inquiry may be, from what we know about Kuro is that he is not human or that who was once human but has now lost his identity of self and believes Rudo can help remind him who he is, from Kuro’s memories we know that he is the oldest living being in the Gachiakuta verse from his extensive memory as seen when Momoa Rukel dives into his memory and sees 100s of years worth of memories, memories that also look as though they come from different people as it is a popular theory that Kuro and Corvus both are the same person

Furthermore we see in Kuro’s memories the existence of a past that is similar to that of ours in how they don’t believe in monsters from trash which supports the theory of the Ground just being Earth just after a massive event that changed the very structure of the world however it also posses the question, how did the Apostles come into contact with the Gods?

As for Kuro’s mythological counterpart it goes to the myth of Coronis in how a white crow spied on Apollo’s lover, Coronis and told Apollo of her cheating and how Apollo turned the birds black forever, then there is the Constellation Corvus, which represents Apollo’s faithless bird

Overall Crows and Corvus both have a lot to do with Kuro which comes to show how strange Corvus is as an existence with direct mythological ties with Kuro

The current Apostle of Recording: either Corvus or Momoa Rukel

Finally we have the final Apostle the first Hellguard: Ophelia Amne, from what we know of the Hellguards is that they are a group of non-givers who are essentially the law enforcement of the Ground, but who created the laws of the Ground? The Hellguard also posses a special material that suppress Anima however it doesn’t make sense for some material to suppress energy and so it is likely that the first Hellguard’s Jinki or their Anima makes the material special and so it is a Jinki ability that renders other Jinki’s useless

Now for Amne’s mythological counterpart it has nothing to do with Greek but rather Japanese mythology of Enma, the ruler of the underworld and chief judge of the dead, there isn’t much to go off of except that of how Amne may have been the Apostle that created all the laws of the Ground and why the Hellguard are the rulers/enforcers of the Ground

The current Apostle of Hellguard: Kyouka Nijiku

Now what I mean by the current Apostles is that these people are directly connected with the old Apostle in some way

Rudo being a direct descendent of Canis

Remlin being the newest Spellcaster

Momoa seeing all of Kuro’s memories gaining access to an insane amount of information and how her Jinki lets her see the memories of those she touches making her the perfect recorder

And Kyouka the current Captain of Hellguard

Now the Apostles and Angels are very different

Apostles are messengers who spread God’s word perform miracles and show the divine and Angels are people who directly serve Gods

Tamsy is an Angel we know that but his goal with Rudo has to do with making him a new Apostle(?) it could be that the ancient rulers/Gods now reside on the Sphere/palace of heaven and order Angels such as Tamsy to maintain the Apostles on the Ground

Overall the Apostles seem to be the main rulers of the Ground while the Angels and Gods keep to themselves in the Sphere and only intervene when something happens which may have to do with Alto Surebrec in someway

Thoth I need you to clutch in this arc and turn out to be some higher ranking deity than Shura because it’s so over right now

Full into the Watchman series and the potential existence of the seventh

First off what is the Watchman series?

The Watchman is a collection of Jinkis created by the Undertaker Canis Surebrec and items he wore on him on a daily basis

Furthermore the Watchman series is believed to have unlimited amounts of Anima, the energy that exists on the Ground that gives Jinkis and trashbeasts their power

Also that there is a requirement of the Watchman series and that is that you must have an obsession with something similar to Amo’s obsession with true love and Zodyl’s with destruction of the sphere otherwise the Watchman series items will mentally destroy whoever wields them

Now what I wish to discuss is all of the Watchman series and the existence of a potential seventh, as we know the Watchman series relates to the human senses of, touch, smell, taste, vision, hearing, and then the extra senses discussed by scientists vestibular your sense of balance and movement and proprioception the sense of body awareness

The Gloves: wielders, Alto and Rudo Surebrec, both of these characters are direct descendants of Canis Surebrec and are believed to be cursed individuals but that’s a whole other theory, what the Gloves do is that they turn any object into a Jinki as seen by Rudo turning any object he finds into a Jinki with the cost being that turns to dust after, however as of the Doll festival arc he turned himself into a Jinki and we don’t know what the cost of that will be, as for Alto Surebrec the potential murderer we see in his intro chapter a giant spike impaled into a trash beast in which people theorize that Alto can make anything into a Jinki, with this it is connected to the sense of Touch

The Boots: wielders, piece of shit and Amo Empool, with the Boots we know directly that it is connected to the sense of Smell and how Amo creates fragrances that make illusions for people those fragrances being calming or not there could also be potential to create poisonous smells, however we see that in the piece of shit he doesn’t have that ability but rather enhanced physical abilities and that the piece of shit is very paranoid and mentally insane which could imply that he didn’t have a proper obsession and his mind was worn down or he already was that way but the Boots simply didn’t accept him as a wielder and never revealed its true strength

The Coat: wielder, Zodyl Typhon, ability whatever Zodyl eats the coat takes on the form of the animal Zodyl ate pretty self explanatory and how it relates to the sense of Taste, now to get to the potential seventh in Zodyl’s introduction we learn that he was attempted to create Watchman series and I will expand on that

The Book: wielders, Tamsy Caines and Regto, during its first usage we see Tamsy changing Amo’s memories so that she forgets that he kidnapped her and something to note is that in the very beginning of the series Regto was writing something in the book but we don’t know what, also just to add in a side theory but I have made a speculation with no actual evidence but rather that the Book was used on the entire population of the Sphere in order to make them believe that Alto Surebrec is a murderer because off first impressions I don’t believe he could’ve done that unless it was something that was threatening Rudo or his wife cause Rudo’s mom has to be plot relevant in some way I hope, back to the main point it relates to the sense of Vision and how memories are primarily created from what we see

The Necklace: wielder, Gountess Knock, now the Necklace is shown to be very powerful in how it creates chokers which are used as communication devices in the Ground and how it sends messages to the very soul of a person which could be very relevant in the world building of Gachiakuta, overall relates back to the sense of Hearing and how communication is done, we also know that Gountess father has some relation to the Surebrec family likely Alto seeing how we don’t know if Rudo has family outside of Alto

The Watch(man): now the newest addition to the Watchman series and likely the most important piece so far, wielders, Alto and Enjin, as for its abilities we see it’s a similar way of Astral Projection and how Enjin manifests himself into pure Anima and makes his own perception of time slower which allows him to make fast attacks similar to Overclock from MHA in a way, now something to also note is that Alto said and I quote “when people see a clock they generally think of one power” which we can most likely assume time manipulation and we know that time manipulation isn’t possible however Corvus did say it wasn’t not possible so there could be a potential breakthrough with the Watch, overall it relates back to the sense of Vestibular and how it regulates your balance and spatial awareness and how Time Walk effectively does this in how Enjin’s movement works

Potential number 7: now onto number 7 first off I want to talk about the seventh sense proprioception or known as body awareness and how it tells your body where you are and how much force you should use, what we know about Canis is that he was an undertaker someone who buries bodies and from the Canis figure that Bundus received at the end of the Raider’s arc we know Canis had a shovel so the shovel could potentially be the seventh item in how the seventh sense is a item that was very powerful in how it worked relating to body awareness and how much force you should use and I know I said that the Watchman series were items that Canis wore on a regular basis but still perhaps he wore the shovel on the side…. But then again there is the idea of how Zodyl tried to create new Watchman series items so there is always that idea of him creating a new item for him to use as we have yet to see what happens if you combine two Watchman series items together

Now the bigger question is that of how the Watchman series came to be and how Canis made it work, for a Jinki to exist you have to put your own existing Anima into a object you care deeply about or in other words trauma bond with objects, but how did Canis do it with six objects? We know that Canis has hypothetically lived since the beginning of the lore because we know Kuro has memories of a world before the Ground possibly ours and that Canvas town has existed for 6 generations, generations are typically 20-30 years so we know at the minimum Canis is 180 years gone, but the gap in history is insane, yes it is major lore information but for the people of the Ground missing 100+ years of history is wrong in how development occurs history isn’t just forgotten, but the theory I am running is that since Canis was a Undertaker he was likely exposed to lots of dead bodies and all his items collected the Anima of the dead bodies

Off track but now back to Gountess we know from his father that he got it from a friend and that he knows it belongs to the Surebrec family, but who is this friend? It can’t be Alto because then the dad would say someone from the Surebrec family gave it or it was hidden for lore reasons but it could also relate back to Regto the most mysterious character because how was it that he took care of Rudo his entire life? Did he and Alto perhaps be friends? There are many unanswered questions on Regto, also Gountess father said “it won’t be kind to just anyone” which obviously referred to the mental draining the Watchman series does but it could also imply that the Watchman series are Jinkis with there own individual or collective souls all trying to get back to each other

So overall what I am saying is that the world of Gachiakuta is very much a gap because there is atleast 180 years of history missing or just not told to us cause plot and that the Watchman are the most powerful Jinkis with limitless Anima

Edit: apparently I was wrong on the whole senses thing. I guess seven sins or virtues are next

The big trash beast core

Rudo’s arms

Canis Surebrec’s arms

And the seed/shell inside Rudo

All of these share one similarity, that pattern.

Now there’s only one connection to make from here

The Watchman the one who resides between the Ground and the Sphere is a humanoid trash beast that is likely created due to the overuse of the Watchmen series

First let’s analyze Canis letter

“I couldn’t do it. I couldn’t stop the humans. All I could do was bury them. I…. My dear children. Your father has to go break this chain. So please. Please. Live happy lives.”

First off what we know about Canis Surebrec is that he was an Undertaker, a person who prepares dead bodies for funerals, which correlates perfectly with the “bury them” which implies Canis likely did a massacre, then there is the fact he refers to the people as “humans” not “them” this wording may imply that Canis was slowly losing himself and becoming less human and maybe a trash beast. And then there is the final parts “my dear children” this implies there are multiple Surebrec or people Canis took in so Rudo could potentially have family out there, and “break this chain” I’m not sure what chain Canis is mentioning but it might have to deal with the fact the Surebrec family is cursed to become the Watchmen

Now I’m going to look at Alto Sureberc what we know about him is that he went on a massacre in the Sphere causing a large divide between the rich and the poor and from 165 he also has the ability to traverse between the Sphere and Ground and possessed the Watchmen series Gloves

Now in 166 Alto said and I quote “I’m going to break down and disappear” that is very ambiguous line, he said breakdown which doesn’t necessarily mean death, we know the Watchmen series breaks people’s minds and if my theory on the Surebrec becoming the future Watchman is true that means Alto reached a point where he couldn’t hold his potential seed which might exist in him and now has to take a place as a Watchman (we also haven’t seen his arms and he perhaps has the same scars as Canis and Rudo)

So my main point is that those markings Rudo and Canis have are a curse of the Surebrec family which will turn them into a trash beast of the highest tier being the Watchman and that seed inside them grows from hate.
