Mustard Whopper?

I havent been to a Burger King in years (decades, actually) Way back then i could order a “mustard Whopper” and the staff behind the counter knew that was a burger with mustard, lettuce, pickles, onions and tomato. No mayo. No ketchup. Essentially a BK version of a Whataburger.
Would a store today know what i wanted if i ordered a mustard Whopper or would i have to tell them specifically what i wanted?

Some Observation About Food on the Planes

I traveled on American 3-4 days a week for a couple of decades. Ive been retired for eight years and fly once every 4-6 weeks these days. Almost all my travel in retirement is first or business. Ive been enjoying the commentary and postings in this sub. In some ways air travel is still the same and in other ways its a wildly different experience from my working days.

One thing that i get a kick out of is comments about the food: whats good, whats not. What people look forward to, what they will pass on.
The comments about the current offering of beef Wellington really entertain me. Ive got to say that the food served on American these days is pretty mediocre. My memory may not be what it once was but my perception is its never been particularly good and its only gotten worse. If i were served that beef wellington on the ground it would be an embarrassment to any restaurant. Talking about it like it’s something special seems quite odd to me. That said, its a meal and it will do if I’m hungry. No more. No less.

I think there is definitely some joy remaining in dining on a plane. Those ice cream sundaes still taste great at 32000 ft and almost anything is enjoyable with a view out the window on a smooth flight on a clear day. No restaurant can match it.

Safe travels to all of you.

Gas station elitists?

Wow. Conversations with friends, family and fellow road trippers reveal a weird elitism about gas stations, truck stops and convenience stores. Some are “bad” because they are owned by corporations , others are preferred but their corporate ownership is ignored. Some have too many choices. Some have customers “like Walmart customers.” Some too big. Some are “inconsistent.” Some have owners with “bad family.”
WTF is up with all the hate? I’m usually just lookin’ for gas and a clean place to
pee.
