Non contrast MRV for compressions?

I need to check for other compressions before I treat my PCS. I was stented for May Thurner. For some reason the doctor wouldn’t look for any other compressions. I didn’t argue with him because I knew the left one needed a stent ASAP. But I’m highly suspicious of bi-lateral MTS.

I actually went to the ER last night because I got paranoid about a slow blood clot or narrowing in my stent and my check up ultrasound isn’t for another week. I asked them to run a CTV thinking that would be perfect diagnostic material. The doctor ordered a generic CT with contrast and repeatedly told me it was a CTV. So I have zero answers other than I don’t have a blood clot, and likely don’t have narrowing. But I didn’treact to the contrast well at all and I really don’t want to put my body through that again for the proper CTV.I am so upset. I’m also scared of the gadolinium MRI contrast. I don’t know if my surgeon will perform another IVUS without imaging. Has anyone found their compressions on a non contrast MRV?

How long after a stent can you coil

I’m one week out from my stent. My leg pressure is better but I can already tell I’m still going to need to treat my PCS. My surgeon doesn’t treat PCS so he only did the stent. I know some people have done their stenting and coiling together? Kind of wished I had been able to do that. General rule of thumb seems to be 3-6 months? Has anyone had their surgeries closer together? What was your experience? How did your body handle it? I’d like to do it as soon as possible

Timeline for leg relief after stent?

I’ve been posting too much on here lol but I’m curious other people’s experiences with leg relief after a May Thurner stent. I’m only 3 days post op. I got a stent for 90% closure. My ovarian veins had almost tripled in size, reflux in both common femoral veins, and severe (greater than 5 seconds) reflux of the left GSV, although the vein itself is still a normal size. I only got a stent to let blood reroute and see what will resolve on its own. My overall leg pressure feels lighter but I still can’t stand or walk too long without compression on the left leg. I feel pooling in my ankle still and some slight numbness and tingling sometimes in the foot. I’m wondering how long it’s taken other people to get relief from the leg pain after a stent

Back pain after stent

How long did everyone’s back pain last after a May Thurner stent? I’m on the day after surgery. I thought I was ok this morning but I’m having a hard time moving now. It’s intense

Flexibility after a stent

I’m scheduled for a stent for MTS. I’m really flexible and enjoy doing the splits. Likely because of a connective tissue disorder. Wondering if anyone else has this and if the stent affected your range of motion at all? Also exercise tolerance? I’ve lost all ability to exercise pretty much due to severe reflux and hip pain. I’m hoping I get that back. But wondering if the stent prevents any certain types of exercise or anything

I made the mistake of asking, “what if I have a nickel allergy?” Now I have to wait another month to get tested for that before a stent. Here’s the thing, even if I do have an allergy or sensitivity I would still want one. Research shows that majority of people are fine with a stent regardless of if they have an allergy or not. Has to do with the coating they put on it and how once your tissue grows over it it’s never in contact with your blood anyway. Now I’m scared that if I do have one no doctor will give me a stent. Do doctors still stent you for May Thurner if you have a nickel allergy? Anyone know?

I have lymphedema that’s left leg dominant progressing really quickly. Everything as far as surgery goes is moving so slowly and I feel like I’m in a nightmare where no one can hear me screaming. Looking like treatment is another month out. Lymphatic damage hits a tipping point at some point where it’s not reversible. Anyone have experience?
