what is the best vacuum cleaner for cat litter?

hi everyone! my current vacuum sucks at picking up cat litter; it just flings it all over the room or when i go to put up the vacuum all of the litter falls out of it. we have mainly carpet so i’m looking for something that has good suction power and won’t let the litter fling out while vacuuming or when i go to put it away. i’m honestly okay with any price range as litter being everywhere is driving me crazy, however i would prefer an actual plug in vacuum and not a roomba or similar. thanks in advance!
ps. please don’t tell me to change cat litter, my cats are the problem not the litter, they fling it everywhere.

sleeping after parathyroidectomy

how long do you need to avoid stomach sleeping after surgery? i’m able to sleep on my side in the recliner but keep trying to flip in the middle of the night. i want to move over to my bed but im scared of instinctively rolling onto my stomach and straining my neck. thanks!!

editing to say: my surgeon did not give me any restrictions for sleep or other activities. i am trying to see if people who sleep on their stomachs had any problems or if they were advised not to.

hyperparathyroid surgery questions!

hi everyone! i’m a 22 year old female who was recently diagnosed with primary hyperparathyriodism. i have a scan next week to see the effected glands, and surgery the week following the scan. i’m wondering what everyone’s process has been like, especially people close to my age! i also have crohn’s disease so if anyone else has a form of ibd and has had a parathyroidectomy, i would love to hear your experience.

some questions i have are:
how was the healing process?
was it difficult to manage pain?
how was you scar looking right after and now? i’m slightly worried because i don’t have neck wrinkles so will it be more noticeable?
how did you feel afterwards (were symptoms gone, did you have low calcium symptoms)?
can i smoke weed afterwards or should i wait some time?
how does showering with the fresh incision work? regular diet in days after surgery?

thanks in advance for any insight!!! feel free to also tell me anything you wish you would’ve known before getting the surgery, anything that will help during surgery recovery or must haves, and anything else you feel is important or helpful to know!!

(tldr: 22 and have a parathyriodectomy coming up, wanting a few questions answered and interested in any helpful info!)

stelara to tremfya experiences?

hey everyone! i was on stelara for at least 7 years and then i lost insurance and couldn’t afford it for a year. due to this my gi suggested i try a different biologic and we landed on tremfya. i’m wondering if others have done this and how their experience was when starting tremfya, and the overall experience on it. when i was on stelara i had relatively no symptoms or side effects aside from some swelling and redness at the injection site. i’m wondering if tremfya will be the same experience or if people have had more problems/side effects. i was also previously on humira for a few years before stelara, but made the switch due to humira causing p
some bad psoriasis. even if you weren’t on stelara i still want to know your experience with tremfya, however if you were on stelara give me all the details on how tremfya has been!!! thanks in advance! editing to add in i am currently symptomless being off medicine right now and colonoscopy showed very minimal inflammation in the end of the small bowel. doctor wants me to start treatment anyways since i have a very complicated history with crohn’s.

Aurovela 1/20

hi everyone! i’m wondering about side effects you all had during the first few months of taking Aurovela 1/20. for some backstory, i was taking Junel fe 1/20 for over five years with no problem but upon moving states the clinic didn’t carry it or any similars. because of this i went through at least 6 different birth controls including mini pills (i was never told if i was estrogen sensitive) trying to get different side effects to stop. i finally got insurance and about 2.5 weeks ago i switched from Opill to Aurovela 1/20 as my doctor said this was the same as the pill i was taking before moving states (2 years ago). the first week taking it everything was fine, however for the past week i’ve been waking up drenched in sweat multiple times throughout the night, and will wake up around 4-4:30 nightly for a minimum of 30 minutes not being able to fall back asleep. i’m wondering if these are normal side effects of Aurovela or if it’s from switching from a mini pills to a combo one, and if anyone knows anyway to ease these problems? I know your body takes around 3 months to get used to a birth control and the hormones, however the continually waking up and being soaked in sweat is already getting very annoying. thanks in advance for any help!!!

TL;DR : Was on Junel fe 1/20 for years no problem, had to switch to mini pill due to lack of access, two and a half weeks ago switched to Aurovela 1/20 and experiencing intense night sweats and multiple wake ups. is this normal?
