Sheldon & Star Trek

I'm almost halfway through my second watch of the Big Bang Theory...this year. Is it weird, that as I watch the new season of Star Trek Strange New Worlds, I can't help but wonder what Sheldon would think of the latest Star Trek reboots and their focus on Spock? I'm a little sad that he never got to see Discovery & Strange New Worlds and I think of him every time I see Spock on screen.

...yes, I am aware the Sheldon is a fictional character.

USA - Shot a music video at an abandoned airport with DJI and Canon

Hey fam, it took me three months and about a hundred hours, but I just finished a music video I shot with my band at an abandoned airport in NYC! This is my first attempt at a short film, so any and all feedback is appreciated💖

I’m the singer, but I also ended up co-filming this with my friend (I shot everything but the Canon) and we managed to make it all work with a six person team (including the musicians)!

I did the editing and color-grading, but again, this is my first time making anything like this, so I completely understand it’s not as pro as it could be - at some point I just had to put it out!

Shot on

Canon R5C DJI Avata 360 DJI Mini 4 Pro DJI Osmo Pocket 3 (with Wiral Lite Zipline) DJI O3 (BetaFPV Pavo20 Pro)

The band is called Gold Stars For Everyone and this is our new single “What If You Decide?”

Let me know what you think💫

USA - July 4th with DJI (Fireworks & Fun)

Hey fam!

I've been absolutely loving the DJI ecosystem! I shoot everything in D-Log M and the footage fits together pretty seamlessly. I use DJI Studio to edit the 360 shots, and then use Final Cut Pro for the compilation. The Avata 360 was amazing for capturing fireworks when my Mini 4 Pro made it tough.

I know people complain about replaceable lenses on the Osmo 360, but I took a bad spill after skating through that hydrant (forgot wet wheels = hydroplaning on sharp turns) and the camera tumbled like 10 feet, but suffered no damage whatsoever! I would have definitely included the wipe out, because it was hilarious, but unfortunately it stopped recording RIGHT before I fell.

I'm normally pretty averse to the tiny planet stuff when I do work for clients, but this was just fun, and I love slow-warping the world around me during skate videos like I'm in Inception.

Shot on Osmo 360, Osmo Pocket 3, O3 Air Unit (Pavo 20 Pro), and Avata 360.

What do you think? Do you like to mix & match cameras or do you use a full rig like I do? Anybody else loving the DJI 360s?

[US Brooklyn] Shot a music video ft. Avata360

Hey, Droners! Long time listener, first time poster here and looking for some feedback. I fly a lot of FPV, mostly with a Pavo 20 Pro, and was curious to test the ability of cheating the same FPV flavor with the 360. This month I got the band together and finally married my love of music and passion for flying. Still sifting through the overwhelm of footage to make a full cut for the release, but here’s a one shot clip with just the Avata 360.

While I also did film actual FPV footage with the Pavo (not pictured here, happy to post later), I used editing tricks to bring to life what I storyboarded in my head since I had to be in these shots without having another capable FPV pilot present.

So I ask this before the reddit droning court: did I achieve it at least a little? Open to any tips or tricks, and general opinions, just stoked to have at least reached this milestone! Thanks in advance and happy flying! 💫
