Excluding partner label stuff for another post.
Keep in mind it's just a joke, if you're a die hard criterion head don't crucify me.
Bellow is a list of films i would love either like a 4k of or even just like blu-ray collectors boxset, i'm curious on what y'all takes are and the likely hood it could happen or if anyone knows of any rumors
if anyone knows anything that would be chill, thank you!
Orbit shows it at TBD but the bottom says July 27th 2026...
Also has anyone gotten anything from visions video, I know they're a new label through the U.K. so curious if anyone has picked up their few releases.
The 40th anniversary already passed.....when are we getting this sucker?
I felt it was fitting to create this list as someone who’s been shopping with VS for a while now. Here are some tips I wish I would’ve known back then.
Tip #1
This is more for the future, but if you already have an idea of which films you’re planning to buy, make sure to add them to your cart before the site closes down. That way, when the site goes back up, BOOM! You can get your shopping done immediately.
Tip #2
Pay attention to stock levels. Yeah, there might be a listing with like 300 copies left, but I can’t count how many times I thought something would stick around after a sale only for it to suddenly sell out. Just keep an eye on it, and if you feel like a particular movie is flying off the shelves like flapjacks, go for it. The perk of stacking your orders is that you won’t have to pay another delivery fee.
Tip #3
Want to blind buy? Take a look at this subreddit or another movie-focused one for people’s discussions about a film. For example, everyone was talking about *Movie Orgy*, a movie I hadn’t seen, and I eventually caved and bought it. I probably wouldn’t have even considered getting it if it wasn’t for all the lovely discussions available.
Tip #4
To maximize your movie intake, ask yourself: do I really need that slipcover that’s basically the exact same cover as the Blu-ray case? Probably not. But of course, if you really vibe with it, go for it. Slipcover prices do add up though, and I’m just trying to help your wallet, buddy.
Tip #5
If it’s still in stock, get the VS air freshener when you’re ordering a huge haul. Something about opening the box to a really pleasant smell (reminder: it does *not* smell like a rotten film reel) is just divine and adds to the excitement of mail day.
Tip #6
I know sacrificing a goat helps make deliveries go faster for non-members, but please leave Kevin the goat alone.
Well, that’s all I’ve got. I hope this was helpful, and if anyone else has any useful tips they’d like to add, please do so in the comments below.
Happy shopping, y’all!

Click above to see what I have, but with the new place and after adding another shelf, I’m debating how I should organize everything. Should it be alphabetical, by color, by genre, or by label? How should I present my favorite films? Should I put certain figures on the shelf next to the movies they’re related to?
I also have two posters next to my bookshelf: Perfect Blue and the 70th anniversary edition poster for Seven Samurai. Should I add lights, wallpaper, or a carpet? I feel like the possibilities are endless! If anyone has any good ideas or tricks, I’d love to hear them.
