Hey everyone, figured I’d finally introduce myself and my project. I’m CJ, 26 years old, and this is my 1986 Nissan Maxima GLE. I’ve always had a soft spot for older Japanese cars, and this Maxima has become my daily driver and long-term project. So far I’ve been working through maintenance and upgrades while trying to keep the car on the road and preserve a piece of Nissan history. The goal is to continue improving it over time; wheels, suspension, restoration, and whatever else the journey throws at me. There aren’t many of these left, so I figured I’d start documenting the build and sharing the progress with other enthusiasts. Looking forward to learning from everyone here and keeping this old Maxima alive.
