I was browsing on my laptop and found this old meme I made after I gave up on Pigeon Blood

Like omg one of the worst VN experience ever! One route was pretty good and cute, one was boring but fine, and the last two are absolutely horrendous and THIS GUY!!!! He was the worst out of the bunch. Probably never finished the game.

Really a shame because I liked the horror elements and in the end Mizusawa was a really cute LI but that's it. Also what do you mean the yandere butler didn't got a route? T_T And the game tried to villanize him while the MC hooked with this a-hole on the picture. Not cool!

Some emotional support from a non-LADS player

Hello there! I'm not a LADS player, but tried the game last year. It didn't really clicked with me, it was bit TOO self-inserty and the fight mechanic really lagged on my tablet. I play Switch otomes so I'm okay with the genre but this didn't worked for me so I deleted it after a month and didn't pay attention to the game after that.

But wow my Reddit and Twitter feed absolutely blow up whith the Valko drama. I'm really sorry that it happened to you guys, it's really unfair! Like it's absolutely crazy that some people are ready to ruin others fun. Not talk about all the homophobia, racism and smear campaign. :(

I just want to say that I hope you can get Valko back. Even I got interested in him so maybe I tryLADS again if they add him to the game.

I can't really boycott more than this because I already don't play the game but donated some money to the wolf conservation centre. Don't lose hope! <3

Finished Pawn's Revenge, what's next? What are the "must read" BLs?

I read mosly japanese mangas so I absolutely out of loop with the korean BL manhwa section. Time to time I try to read something but my choices are either really bad or boring. There is only 3 titles I liked, which is not bad but still not good.

Tried Warehouse which was fine but got bored of it, dropped BJ Alex because of the characters (they were annoying), and I put away Peace-Maker for now because I'm not in the mood for it now. Also a few other but they were so bad I totally forget their titles.

Anyway. The ones I liked: Killing Stalking, Painter of the Night and Pawn's Revenge. I know two of them are pretty divisive, especially PotN. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. I thought I just gonna hate read but in the end the story got me interested. Yeah it's 70% porn, but the other 30% is pretty decent. And KS is just a top-notch psychological thriller.

But Pawn's Revenge is in an absolutely different dimension. One of the best BL I've ever read, period. TOP 10 fave probably.

I hyped now and want more. What are the must read BL manhwas in your opinion with these parameters:

  • There is a longer plot. Not a slice of life story but something more interesting. I like your average office love stories also but I want more now. Assassins killing corrupt politicians. Zombie apocalypse. Drug addict kpop star and his backup dancer lover. More crime story. Prison. Supernatural. Anything. Don't have to be overly dramatic or straight up misery porn, just something interesting.
  • Not too toxic main couple. Also rape on the minimum. I don't like rape but if it's logical in the story then I can tolerate. Sangwoo is a psychopath, in PotN there is a class difference between the characters, and PR takes place in a brothel so of course shit happens. But if the seme rapes his uke every chapter because he loooooves him so much then no thank you! I like when the main couple loves each other. I want something similar to Je-oh and Seong-rok's relationship. They are not perfect, somethimes argues but in the end they just want the best for each other.
  • Finished story with a happy (or not too sad) ending. You can recommend on-going series if you think it's good but I prefer finished stories.
  • Modern Korea setting is preferable. It also can be historical Korea or fantasy, but I crave for some modern ('90-2026) stories.
  • Omegaverse is also okay (but not a must). If you know a good omegaverse/mpreg with an engaging plot I'm interested.

I think that's it. You can say more popular titles because I'm probably never heard about them. I know about Jinx and Pearl Boy but I'm not interested.

Thank you very much! I appreciate every recommendation.

Also is there any chance to get an english physical release of Pawn's Revenge? I would buy it.

Phainon just arrived and already annoys the heck out of everybody

Phainon: ...and that's how I met Mydeimos.

Ratio: Gambler! Who is this man? Why is he speaking non-stop for like half an hour now?

Aventurine: I don't know. He just came here and started to talk about this Mydeimos guy.

Phainon: Oh, you've never heard aboud Mydei? It's okay, I know everything! Did you know that he's a really good cook? Almost as good as me! And he has a really good body. Like, really-really good! And a beautiful face and...

Ration: 'Sigh'

Aventurine: Hahaha. What a funny guy!

(GSC please give us that Mydei Nendo already! Phainon is lonely)

How do you buy from Hubbyte if you're from Europe?

I want an older Nendo and the only place I found for a reasonable (eh, kinda) price is this shop. They only ship in the Philippines but according to their FAQ international shipping also possible. The problem is that I just don't get what I have to do.

I can't check-out because I need a Philippino adress. I also can't find any e-mail address or something to ask them some help. And do I really need Western Union to Gcash or Remitly to Gcash to pay for them? I don't even know what is this suppose to do.

I appreciate every help!
