SFOTH event was a tale from the Old World were the Swordmaster fought countless warriors in SFOTH until Lord Exo's troops found a way to defeat him and banished him.
Metaverse Champions Event happened between Halloween 2020 and Solar Eclipse where AJ Striker needed help from TDS. Optionally Canon.
The Special Gamemodes, the Trials, the Hunt event, the Mega Hunt event, and the Classic occurred in an alternative timeline like Frost Mode.
The Backyard Legends event occurred in an alternative timeline where Dispatcher and Commander took a week vacation.
Frost Mode happened after Ducky's Revenge and if Operation I.C.E failed/didn't exist.
Hardcore Mode happened in an alternative timeline where Two X successfully killed Void Caster, and Void Reaver took over as the leader.
Before the existence of the Mimic from the Tales and the RUIN DLC, a majority of this community assumed that William Afton came back as Burntrap.
As of now, with the Tales books, RUIN, Help Wanted 2, and SOTM. Do we still think that Burntrap or William Afton's corpse exists somewhere below the Pizzaplex?
Imo, the Mimic kinda shafted Burntrap's place where in RUIN, the Mimic was at the same area as Burntrap with those claw marks. In HW2, we see Glitchtrap coming out of the battery tank like Burntrap. In SOTM, we saw stuff like Deathtrap (The Proto Amalgamation from R&D) that looked reminiscent like Burntrap, the White Tiger kinda taking Burntrap's original intention, and the bad ending where M2 stuffed Arnold in a Fredbear costume like Glitchtrap stuffing Vanessa into Freddy after HW Pizza Party.

If it’s because of Golden Freddy, then it wouldn’t work because she isn’t the only one possessing Golden Freddy. Crying Child/Bite Victim (and you could argue Andrew for GoldenAndrew) are there as well. Especially with CC having more ties with Golden Freddy/Fredbear.
If it’s because of TOYSNHK, then it’s iffy where she’s killed on purpose alongside of the other four and for some reason decides to hide herself as a male child or animatronic under facenouns or suitnouns. Also, that theory is debatable.
If it’s because she was killed differently than the others, then was that really necessary under CassidySpringlocked/CassidyExperiments? Why would William make her death way different than the rest? She was killed just like the other spirits. Not to mention that these theories are debatable.
There’s also her being the Happiest Day Receiver and I agree with that, but I doubt people care about that. People wanted more than just her being the Happiest Day Receiver and her forcing William to Springlock himself in Follow Me.
I forgot to mention the scrapped Cassidy movie script, but even then, how do we know for sure? We have no information about the movie script besides being a “gambling” encyclopedia and it could be outdated.
