Who did everyone else go with for their surgery in the UK?
How to find the right surgeon for me?

I have been keeping a diary of my weight loss. Started 2.5 Mounjaro on 6th June, increased to 5mg on 4th July.
In this time I have lost 1 stone which is 7.6% of my starting body weight.
Honestly feeling really good. The journey hasn't been easy - I had a really bad reaction to 5mg when I first went on it, but ultimately it has been so worth it. I need to lose one more stone and then I'll finally be in the Healthy Weight BMI category! Hoping to reach this before Christmas and looks like I'm well on my way to doing so.
Wishing everyone else a positive journey ✨️
Live by myself
Bought the property last year. It's still nowhere near homely. Didn't get much help. People always say they'll help then they dont turn up.
My sister just bought her first property and parents are straight round to help her.
I feel so unwanted and rejected alongside feeling overwhelmed and inadequate.
Haven't got out of bed today yet. Just don't want to do anything.
Sorry this is not an actual question or anything I just didnt know what else to do and needed to reach out somewhere.
Looking for advice.
I'm back on 5mg and this time no severe side effects like gas/acid etc.
However I have ZERO appetite. This happened last time I went to 5mg as well.
Just wondered, whatever amount you are on, what do you eat in a day and what feels right? Surely me not feeling hungry at all and basically having to force myself to eat the tiniest amount can't be right? Are people averaging a few meals a day? Or do you just snack little and often throughout the day?
So, I was on 2.5mg of Mounjaro for one month, and I went up to 5mg as per my prescriber's suggestion, and just generally my decision. However, I had a bad experience. That was the Saturday before last. I was just really bloated, had a lot of acid reflux, could barely eat. I was really struggling. However, I took a weekend off, and now I've gone back to 5mg. I don't know if this is the right decision. Lots of people told me to count the clicks. I went to do it, but I don't know. I just felt like, well, I've bought this now as it is, and maybe I just had one bad experience with 5mg, and, you know, hopefully I've adjusted now, and it will be okay. I don't really know why I'm sharing this other than I'm just a little bit anxious that maybe I've made the wrong decision, and I should have just counted the clicks and stuck with 2.5. But I've done it now, so let's just see what happens, and fingers crossed everything's okay. And if not, then I will definitely go back down to 2.5 because I don't think I can stay off it now because even though I only skipped my jab on Saturday and it's now Wednesday, already my appetite is pretty much back to what it was before I had gone on the medicine.
Context: I'm on 5mg, it's my first week on it, I had a bad reaction but that part is calmed now.
I'm struggling to eat anything whilst on the jab and need to force myself to do it. Therefore, my diet is really small and in averaging:
Breakfast: 1 banana
Second meal: 1 Huel protein shake slowly sipped throughout the day
Third meal: Half a baguette with something like tuna or ham
Snack: miso soup if I'm up to it
Thats all I can manage. Is this too little? I'm trying my best but finding it hard to eat more because 1) I mentally am not interested in food 2) my stomach flares up if I over-eat
I welcome opinions (be kind please) on what I'm eating and suggestions to improve and also please share yours
Edit - 36yo F 164 cms, 72kgs
Okay, so I did my month on 2.5 then went up to 5mg last saturday and had a terrible reaction with painful reflux and gas.
It's now Wednesday and although I'm feeling a bit better, all I'm averaging to eat is a protein shake, a banana, some watermelon, and something in the evening like miso soup.
I live by myself and I'm a secret jabber so no one knows I'm on it. I had a hospital appointment yesterday (about something unrelated) and they said my stats are fine but my blood pressure is low. Every morning I wake up and I feel more and more anxious, today I have a head ache also and just feel really drained. I also felt really cold earlier to the point of goosebumps even though we are in a heatwave.
What should I do? I feel so alone. I don't feel quite sick enough to go to a hospital and I would likely just be sat around for hours. Do I just need to eat more? I'm struggling to do that. Ive managed a banana and some sips of protein shake this morning.
I feel so alone and scared. I'm sorry to bring this here but not sure who else to speak to and just looking for support.
Edit: I'm on lansaprasole already, ive been taking Pepto-Bismol/Gaviscon and also simethicone
Went up to 5mg on saturday evening. Yesterday was awful. Felt really sick, I have terrible stomach acid which is not subsiding with pepto-bismol. I have already been on lansaprasole for years.
Couldn't eat much yesterday. Finally managed some watermelon, half a pack of sticky rice & some cucumber.
Today ive forced half a vanilla Huel protein shake (my usual breakfast) and a banana. Ive had 2 bites of my baguette and a slice of tomato.
I feel so tired and shaky and I had a headache which did go away after I'd managed to eat something.
What does everyone else do in this situation? Are you just force feeding yourself? Or accepting you cant eat? I'm at work and this is so challenging. I dont think I can continue with mounjaro if this is the reaction. I'll be going back to 2.5mg and staying there or coming off completely.
Just finished my first 2.5 and my period has come 3 days early and it's really light. I also had no PMS symptoms like I usually do (usually terrible boating, boobs get massive, I get mood swings). Literally my period took me massively by surprise today.
Has this happened to anyone else? Might just be a one-off but was looking to hear of others' experiences
Anyone else on mounjaro and physically disabled? I've started on the meds because I struggle with fitness. When I see posts on how much weight people have lost it's usually accompanied by info about how much they've worked out too and I can never run a marathon or anything.
Has anyone lost weight mostly by reducing eating because of the jab rather than also with a lot of exercise?
I know it's quite high pitched so may be tricky for all to hear - but this noise is driving me crazy and my landlord is unwilling to acknowledge it. They keep washing their hands of it and not doing any investigation.
Does anyone have any idea where the noise is coming from? It is NOTHING that I own. Ive turned off all my electrics etc. I can hear it mostly in my bedroom but it echoes throughout the flat and seemingly outside too.
Had my ears checked and no issues there. Also visitors to my property (usually aged under 40) can hear it.
