I'm looking for some advice on the best priming methods for two different compositions I'm working on: Veline color stars and Blesser White Strobe.

Crucial detail: I do not want to use Potassium Dichromate in any of my formulas due to its toxicity.

Since both Veline (perchlorate/parlon based) and strobe compositions can be notoriously hard to ignite from a standard black powder burst, what are your favorite dichromate-free alternatives?

Thinking about buying a CFMOTO 800MT Explore as a second bike – looking for owner opinions

Hi everyone,

I currently own a Yamaha MT-10, which I absolutely love for shorter, sporty rides. However, I'm looking for a second bike mainly for longer trips (Austria, Dolomites, touring), carrying luggage, and occasionally riding with a passenger.

I'm considering a 2025 CFMOTO 800MT Explore with 12,500 km. It comes with around €2,000 worth of accessories (OEM panniers, top case, Leo Vince exhaust, crash bars, etc.) and the asking price is €7,500. A new one is around €9,000 here.

One thing I'm a bit concerned about is my weight. I weigh 120 kg (265 lbs), and sometimes I'll ride with a 60 kg (132 lbs) passenger.

For those who own or have ridden the 800MT Explore:

• How does it handle heavier riders?
• Is it comfortable for long touring days (500–700 km)?
• Any reliability issues or things I should know before buying?
• Would you buy it again?
