Whenever you upgrade the spores it locks a trait. It seems to typically lock the more expensive ones so going to skin lesions, then getting even 1 spore locks necrosis. It makes this a super pain in the ass to play. Idk how to both upgrade and spread the disease without locking myself out of all the good lethality traits.
It's just so boring.
You need like 100 DNA points total between the attacking and travel genes to get around the map and kill Templar quickly. To get that many you just have basically sit afk eating countries, not playing it as a plague.
But if you play it as a plague, you get cured superbly quickly.
