Success woth MDL protocol?

Just finished my first IVF cycle. It wasn't the worst response but I think the doctor thinks we can do better. My baseline AFC was 7. We ended up with 8 eggs, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, and we will find out Thursday how many made it to blasts.

I asked my doctor if we could do a back to back cycle and today I just got notice that he is starting us on the micro dose lupron flare protocol with ombitrope added and BC priming. Did anyone have more success with this protocol than the standard antagonist protocol? Im hopefull that we can have a better percentage of mature eggs received this time around and ive heard that some people with DOR do better with this protocol. Thoughts?

Thank you!

ER Yesterday

Just wanted to post an update in here. I had my ER yesterday and it seemed to go well for my first ER. Total of 8 eggs retrieved. Which for DOR and a baseline of 7 AFC I felt was probably fair...we find out today how many of those eggs were mature and how many fertilized. From my last ultrasound it looks like I could have anywhere from 4-7 mature eggs. Obviously praying for more rather than less. Just wanted to share. Im hoping we can do back to back cycles so hopefully starting round 2 in a few weeks. I know its individual for everyone but anyone have success with getting good embryos with 8 eggs? Im 30 years old if it changes anything. Also anything I can do from now to my second cycle to help recruit more follicles?

Only three lead follicles...starting to lose hope

First IVF cycle, last tested AMH was 1.0, baseline AFC was 7. Now we are day nine of our antagonist protocol, 150 menopur and 300 folistim and I have only three follicles measuring above 10mm. Im so scared this cycle ia gonna be a bust. I was hoping for at least 1-2 genetically normal embryos this round but now it seems we may not get any. I hate this unknown waiting game. Is there still hope for this cycle?

I had my baseline scan this morning for my first ifv cycle, and now im waiting for the phone call from the clinic giving me the ok to start stims. I have no idea what to expect and im praying for at least 2 euploid embryos this round (I have DOR) Last time they did an ultrasound my AFC was 9. This morning it was 7. Already off to a bad start.

But the Dr. Did say with me being 30 we have pretty good chances of at least 1 euploid embryo. Blood work came back great and all my hormones came back in the normal ranges.

So I guess im just looking for some guidance about what to expect. I know no one can predict what happens but I want to keep my expectations in check so I dont make this any harder than it already is. Any advice?
