Upgrade routine

I have a very basic skincare routine because my skin is so sensitive and dry. I feel like a lot of products are way too heavy and make me break out, or they aren’t hydrating enough. Finding that balance is hard! I basically use vanicream moisturizer and cleanser with Cosrx snail mucin and a retinol twice a week. Obviously sunscreen. I’m noticing my fine lines way more and I’m just not loving the texture or dullness of my skin.

Please give me good product recs for a major routine upgrade. I’m craving that glowy, smooth skin look! My skin is feeling so blah right now and it’s driving me crazy. I want to wake up in the morning and notice a difference.

Tetras loosing buoyancy

I’ve had my neon tetras for 6 months with no problems. I have a 10g, plenty of plants, and they’ve been thriving. Well, about 2 weeks ago I added a pothos plant to my tank (just the roots) that I got at Walmart, but I soaked it for hours and got everything off the roots. That week I noticed one of the tetras having buoyancy issues after eating. I removed the pothos plant and did a big water change. Everything seemed normal. Well, now, every single one of my tetras is having buoyancy issues after eating! They all swim down constantly for hours after eating and their bodies want to float to the top. I have a Platy who is completely fine and normal.

Why is this happening and is there anything I can do?? Nothing else has changed or been added to the tank. I do 25% water change once a week always have and I test the water.

Seizure

So when my daughter was 2, she got the Flu and ended up having a seizure. We took her to the hospital where she had another one. They did all sorts of tests and everything came back normal.

She’s now 3.5 years old and has gotten sick since then but no unusual things have happened. She’s fallen, gotten sick, all the normal toddler things with nothing odd following. Well, yesterday she was playing with some kids, and one of them accidentally fell on her and she hit her head on the hard floor. She started screaming so I ran to pick her up. 30 seconds later she started to have a seizure. We took her to the hospital and they did a CT scan and everything was normal. They discharged her and said febrile seizures and head injury seizures aren’t related and she’s fine.

I’m just so lost. Every doctor says she’s fine, we had neurological tests done when she was 2 with nothing coming up… but I just never hear about other kids bumping their head and having a seizure or getting a fever and having one. I know it can happen but now she’s had multiple for different reasons and it’s scaring me. Has anyone else experienced this?? I’m trying to get referrals to other doctors for second opinions.
