Manager asks me to work off clock…

At the end of the night to do sidework. Essentially being asked to work for free. As well on the off chance that I make less than minimum wage they do not cover it. Doesn’t happen too often at all… maybe a handful of times in 8 months. I asked other employees and they said if we complain they just fire us. What should I do in this situation? I’ve just been keeping my head down and taking it to keep my job. This manager also sent another employee to the store to grab her period products then sat a table in her section after sending her to the store. The manager asked to me take the table. I was under the assumption that table would remain mine and I would get the tip. The manager switched the table in the system back to the employee who went to the store after I did all the work and they were leaving. The table gave cash. The other server said if it makes you feel better they didn’t leave a tip. Because they handed the cash tip DIRECTLY TO ME because I did the work!!! I was beyond upset. But since I’m an honest person and the table was switched back to her I gave the other server the tip. Had I known from the beginning the table would be switched back to her I would have done the favor but geez. They should have relayed that perfectly out upfront. Not just “take table this # the server got sent to the store” She also tried to gaslight me saying she would switch it back from the jumpbut all she said was “take table 51. I sent the other server to the store for me” I LOST it on the manager. I apologized but I was NOT having a good day and was not like me to lash out. I just don’t think it’s fair I’m constantly asked to work for free. The manager said she wouldn’t document my “losing it” but it was so upsetting. I should have said it in a better way but I was up all night with my mom whose cancer is getting bad. Just didn’t want to call out on a Monday. Should I take further action or just keep my head down as I’ve been doing. The money is worth it sometimes but I’ve definitely made more and way more at other restaurants where I wasn’t abused.

Non-Godly job…

I’m really trying to have faith that if I make money the right way that God will bless me and I won’t struggle if I have faith. The problem is I’m an ex-stripper and webcam girl. I stopped immediately because honestly, I DONT WANT TO. I just want to be able to pay rent and not be homeless and hungry… to take care of my cats and family. I don’t know what to do I keep praying but rent is coming up and I keep being tempted to log onto my camsoda. I’m about to cry. God, I no want to work non-Godly “jobs” should I risk being late on rent? I just want enough money to be able to say yes to all the homeless people that ask me… and not worry about bills. If I stay stopped I feel I may risk not being able to pay rent. For reference I’m a waitress at Chili’s in a “poor” city. I had a particularly bad night tonight. I’m trying to stay positive despite how this sounds. But if God can create the universe he can make a way for me? I have a criminal record but am starting school this fall to become an addiction counselor. But I really need advice. I’m so scared. I’m literally crying typing this. I never wanted to have to do SW. Please pray for me or any advice?
