Hello,

Went to a Mets game recently and received a signed ball from a colleague, but am unsure whose signature it is.

Please help me identify who signed it.

A friend has this in their basement from a grand parent. The item appears to be a cross stitch of a farmer wearing a hat that says "The Hesh", carrying a serving dish that reads "TNT", wearing overalls that state "Just tryin' to Make a Livin. Seemingly it is signed by someone named "Lanie".
This must be based on some sort of existing character, right? I cannot believe this is just a character someone made up, it feels to specific.
What even would this mean?
Please help identify the origins of this piece, we have no idea.
