Canadian bison, 100% grassfed cheddar, sautéed mushrooms & caramelized onion, tomatoes off the vine, living lettuce, pickle slice, Irish whisky BBQ sauce, mayo, grilled bun. Tossed a little fresh onion onto mine.
First time making something like this, decided to improvise. Turned out really, surprisingly good!
Made use of some liquid hickory smoke, shiitake, molasses, balsamic glaze and a dash of jamaican jerk seasoning to mellow out the "sulphur" scent that "Impossible Meat" sometimes gets. Worked like a charm.
Yellow corn masa as binding agent instead of gluten. Lemongrass bones (the supermarket was out of sugar cane stalks). Other ingredients beyond the expected onion/garlic powder/etc, included horseradish, Keen's hot mustard, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, marmite. Some whisky made it into the BBQ sauce.
Didn't think ahead to make proper sides to go with it.
Would certainly make again!
Edit: Ninja Air Fryer to bake and finish, used freezer to firm/set the rib slab before slicing & placing on parchment to cook*
