Idk why I even bother explaining the purpose of escaping in the game but god forbid if the devs removed it…

So basically when the timer hits 0 you don’t instantly win, you have to escape now Which is not a bad idea

But the way people talk about it and how it’s magically more unfair for monsters than instantly winning as soon as the timer hits 0 doesn’t make any logical sense. All it does is extend the time by one minute which Is not in the survivors favour by any means

You are still supposed to Kill all the survivors Before The exits Are open “but wtf is the purpose of it” you may ask?

It gives the monster a small chance To do something. It’s Not impossible to escape but is it easy? No.. it all depends on what the monster is gonna do and on the situation

Let’s Just say you are being chased with the broken bone effect. Does that mean you are gonna escape? Fuck no, you are absolutely cooked if you mess up. This is not exclusive to being chased btw. Sometimes a monster like valem knows what he is doing, setting up all the clones and orbs To do as much damage as possible And that gets him a kill or two as long as he doesn’t mess up and sometimes When you are in LMS before the timer reaches zero it’s gonna be hard to escape if the monster knows what they are doing.. So tell me.. Does the win-when-timer-hits-zero gives killers a small chance this effective? Yeah I didn’t fucking think so…

In conclusion:it’s not supposed to be hard or easy to escape. It’s just a small chance for monsters to do something and tryna Convince the devs that this is magically more Unfair than win-when-timer-zero makes no sense. It’s not allat perfect because of LMS only giving survivors 30 seconds To escape but they did not execute it poorly
