It's Honda shadow VLX 600 2001, I'm a little bit afraid cause the thing have rust for here and for there (nothing too severe), the sound it's amazing and it drives very well.

What should be the first step to improve?

I'm also curious about your general opinion about my new bike, thanks a lot in advance!

I have a little bike, recently I put an Ape Hanger 12" but now the vibrations are strongs to the point that is highly uncomfortable or even unsecure.

There is something that I can do to reduce the vibrations?, put counterweights in the handlebar? I would try to avoid make big changes like change the front wheel / Rim or the whole suspension but in as a very last option i am willing to do that.
