First solo travel need help
Planning a trip with my younger brother and need a quick reality check on how doable this itinerary is.
18 May: Leave Mumbai for Jaipur by train
19 May: Reach Jaipur in the morning, freshen up and leave for Delhi around 12–1 PM, reach by evening and explore a bit
20 May: Leave Delhi around 7 AM for Dehradun, reach by late morning and head to Mussoorie, check in and explore (planning to rent a scooty)
21 May: Visit Landour, return to Mussoorie, then leave for Dehradun around 7:30–8 PM and stay there
22 May: Explore Dehradun
23 May: Explore Dehradun till evening, then leave for Rishikesh and stay overnight
24 May: Rent a scooty in Rishikesh and leave for Chopta around 9–10 AM (planning to skip stops if needed and go directly), reach by evening and stay
25 May: Start early (2–3 AM) for Tungnath & Chandrashila trek for sunrise, descend, have lunch, and then leave for Rishikesh the same day (not sure how feasible this is), stay overnight
26 May: Open day, planning to reach Delhi by 10–10:30 PM and take an overnight bus to Jaipur
27 May: Reach Jaipur early morning, explore a bit and leave for Mumbai at night
Main focus is Mussoorie, Dehradun and Tungnath, Delhi/Jaipur are just transit.
Would love feedback on:
1)How realistic this plan is
2)Travel times between places
3)Feasibility of Chopta → Rishikesh on the same day after the trek
4)And if Rishikesh → Chopta is doable in a day
Any suggestions or red flags would really help 🙌
Used ChatGPT to rephrase better, thanks in advance

Hey folks, I’m from Mumbai and planning a trip to Amritsar, Dalhousie, and Dharamshala next month, would love your suggestions and feedback!
We’ll reach Amritsar around 11:30 PM. The next day, we’re planning to visit the Golden Temple, Wagah Border, and explore a few other spots in the city.
The following morning, we’ll leave early for Dalhousie by bus, spend the day exploring, and stay overnight there.
Next morning, we’ll head to Dharamshala. We have 3 days planned to explore Dharamshala and McLeodganj, and on the third night, we’ll take an overnight bus to Delhi
We’re also interested in doing the Triund trek and, if possible, staying overnight at the top, would that be feasible?
Questions:
1)What are the must visit places we should add to this itinerary?
2)Is bus transport easily available from Amritsar to Dalhousie and from Dalhousie to Dharamshala?
3)Can we include Khajjiar (Mini Switzerland) in this itinerary? If yes, what are the best travel options?
4)How reliable is state transport for intercity travel?
Any other important tips or suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
