A nice surprise in my garden this morning

Last year my sister in law gifted me with some of her beautiful plants / flowers. I didn’t have any idea about this plant. I only see it in pictures. The placement on my garden is perfect. I will appreciate if you can tell me more details about it. Thanks .

DRY CREEK , we used stone we have around in the property

Hi everyone! 🌱
Last year our garden turned into a construction zone! We had serious rainwater issues coming off the driveway and flooding parts of the garden, so we decided to build a dry creek bed to redirect the water. At the same time, I finally installed the little greenhouse I’d bought the year before — doing it ourselves was quite a project. The dry creek turned out better than I expected — especially for first-timers without no experience ! Every stone we laid gave us new ideas, and it’s working really well at managing the water.
My garden is definitely not a neat, weed-free showpiece. I love letting wildflowers pop up and mix with everything else. It’s a bit wild and unconventional, but it feels like home.
Here are some pictures from the progress so far. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

I believe this is a woodland wildflower from the Aster family (Asteraceae), most likely White Wood Aster (Eurybia divaricata, also known as Aster divaricatus)

Translucent white, waxy stems (no chlorophyll/green color) topped with nodding, bell-shaped flowers that look like tiny pipes or ghosts. As they age, the flowers turn upward and darken to black.
