Brand new Wh-mt500 front wheel. Is it supposed to have these holes drilled in the rim? There are two identical holes, offset by just over 90 degrees.

First ride on my new Preamble. Loving it. Feels much more nimble than my old 18kg carerra, that's for sure.
50% commuting, 50% leisure, so need to sort out some mudguards. Any recommendations. My SKS mudrockers won't fit.
Just unboxed this brand new surly preamble frameset.
Should I be concerned about this dent in the lower left fork?
Hi all,
So RM have finally released details on this.
Looks like there is a new code coming which is International Tracked Priority HVD which is a new "DTP & IOSS with DTP" branded service for sending things to 26 of the 27 (cyprus excluded for some reason, but PDDP is available there) member states of the EU.
So, if you are registered for IOSS, you need to collect the VAT at your checkout and remit this to the EU via your current intermediary, nothing changes here, but you also need to collect the 3EUR per line item, duty fee at your checkout. You use your IOSS number when booking the HVD parcel with RM, and the duty is billed back to you via the same process as PDDP is at the moment, and you pay the 3EUR per line item duty fee to RM.
If you send PDDP, then nothing changes, other than the 3EUR per line item will be billed back on the PDDP return.
Handling fees for the new DTP and PDDP services remains at £0.50 for ireland, but increases to £1.00 for all other member states. (i think, RMs wording is not clear on this, see below document).
So, the four tracked options we will have to send are:
Looking at the rather complex chart on Page 8 of the above tries to explain it, and I'm still not sure I understand it completely, as there seems to be both IOSS-PDDP and IOSS-DTP options available for some destinations, which I don't understand.
Still, some welcome information.
With regard to marketplace sales, I believe you send them using standard IOSS, using the IOSS number of the marketplace, and customs bills the 3EUR per line item duty fees to the marketplace. Nothing for you to do here.
Hi all, I've had my Pixel 6 Pro for a while now and I've just purchased a wireless charging stand.
When I put my phone on the stand, it starts to charge ok, but then after about 5 minutes, the following happens
the light on the charging stand starts to flash
the charging status of the phone changes to "connected but not charging"
I get random touch screen activations. Apps launch on their own and then I get swipe gestures. For example, it launches my email app and then starts deleting emails by swiping.
Clearly it seems to be some interference with the touch screen as I don't think it is intentionally performing these actions.
I've tried two different wireless charging stands from 2 different manufacturers and the phone does the same on both. Charging via cable is fine.
Anyone else seen this.

Anyone know how this is going to be implemented in practice for the 3 scenarios.
Duties unpaid, non IOSS. Presumably recipient charged €3 fee plus handling fee on receipt along with import duty and vat.
IOSS. Will this be as per above, so they get to charge handling fees on IOSS parcels, negating the "straight through customs" advantage of IOSS.
DDP. Presumably, billed back to business customer account, or paid in advance when booking for personal customers, as per current import duty and vat charges.
Particularly worried about IOSS, as that would mean all my amazon shipments that are IOSS would now break amazon's terms for requiring no additional import costs.
RMs site wasn't that helpful with any detail.
Hi all,
Posted an item using Tracked 24, label purchased by C&D personal account and dropped off at post office.
The recipient got the email on the evening of posting offering in flight options, so they chose to have it redirected to their local post office.
Royal Mail accepted this request and took it to the post office the following day. The post office, for unknown reason, refused the item (small packet, non hazardous, well packed, well labelled). (Update : Since found out the post office counter inside the shop was closed due to staffing issues).
Royal Mail immediately returned the item to sender. They did not reattempt delivery, they did not take to depot and offer depot collection to the recipient.
So, does anyone know what the chances of getting my postage refunded. Royal Mail are claiming its not their fault. Post office are claiming its nothing to do with them.
