To UPSC Veterans:- Im flunking this mains, how do I make sure I have it figured out in the next attempt?

Clear prelims 2026 but lacking mains prep (Lot of gaps in prep- couldnt cover post prelims) . Gave it my best till July end but got toally burnt out ever since- Zero Productivity despite trying to push it as much as possible.
I know I will not make it in Mains but will still put my best foot forward.
For my next attempt I want to make sure I dont waste any time making mistakes I did this time.

Seek your valuable inputs, especially if you cleared mains or are a ranker. 🙏

Given the absurd nature of Prelims 2026; how different will be the cohort giving Mains 2026

Considering the Prelims was absurdly different from how it has been always, and also that a huge chunk of Mains prep dominant candidates probably had a larger disadvantage; how different will be the population giving Mains this time, vis a visa previous years.

Not requesting for any emperical data or facts or figures or objectivity but merely educated guesses and personal opinions (backed by a tiny hint of rationale)

Tired of AI Slop across Institutes

Is there even a single institute left that doesnt dump AI slop- be it their notes, their test series and the model answers ?

Seems like everyone is just dumping AI generated or AI augmented content into their materials.

Is there any good institute left that actually puts in proper effort into their content- handcrafted and distilled knowledge that doesnt feel like a maze.

Public Administration Faculty Comparison - Negatives Only

If you are studying for Public Administration Optional, name the faculties you know and enlist their flaws, negative aspects, criticisms and shortcomings.

The goal is not to find the "BEST" but find the "Least Worse".

Ive noticed that rather than relying on positive reviews, weighing the negatives gives a better perspective of the faculty's utility.

All guidance is appreciated!

Shivin GS3 Notes Review

Is it just me or are his GS3 2026 Mains module notes- especially the Economy ones way too bloated and dense for all the wrong reasons.
I mean im first spending time decoding the handwriting, then decoding the structure and then converting into half pagers (as advised by him).
And at a few places I had to literally open the economic survey to make sense of what the notes were trying to convey.
Didnt have any such issues with his Prelims handwritten notes that he himself wrote, but this seems to be a different beast altogether.
Skill Issue (Me) or Notes Issue?

Public Administration Optional help

Clearing Prelims by a comfortable margin. Totally struggling with mains prep, esp optional.
Pub Ad Optional- Attended foundation, made those long bulky detailed notes but unable to revise them in this short time alongwith Tests and all. As a result desperately jumping from one standard source to other without any benefit.

Seeking guidance wrt a structured public administration revision plan as well as resources to avoid.

Also, looking for some revision friendly pointer notes that enable quick revision because I am decently versed with the theory.🙏🙏
