During the Covid lockdown, I missed Vietnamese food. So, gf and I began trying to recreate some of the things we'd enjoyed. Bún chả, bún riêu, bánh cuốn, xíu mại, phở and these bò lá lốt. They make great snacks right of the grill, but wrapped with lettuce, cucumber, herbs and netted vermicelli, they make a nice dinner.

This is my favorite spot for this cold rice noodle dish. It has lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, sprouts, mint, basil, grilled pork, pate slices, dried shrimp, and fried spring rolls, all topped with creamy coconut milk, peanuts and fried scallions.
