Help with cartwheels😭

I do park skating for 4 months already (I skate for 1.5 yr already but just started taking park seriously), I learnt 180 in ramp, 360 on flat ground, stalls on toe stop and so on. And I decided to learn how to do cartwheels, ofc on flat ground first! And… damn, my skates feel so heavy😭 I have no problems doing it in my shoes (1st vid), but it’s SO hard to do it in my skates, I feel like I can’t push my feet UP, and I do it kind of to the side. What can I do about it? Do I need to strengthen my legs? I’ll be grateful for any tips🥹

My ORDINARY pivot cups broke again. Second pair in a month. 😭🤌 So, maybe I should try polymorph pivot cups? Is it a good idea for hard impact tricks/jumps? Are they even durable?

Just showing off! I just bought a new helmet for myself! It was around ~$60, but it’s DEFINITELY worth it. It has an EXTRA SOFT foam inside (feels like a pillow on your head, in a good way!!) instead of hard plastic. The only problem is that it doesn’t have any kind of fabric inside to soak up sweat, but I guess I can solve it by myself🤘

I’m new to ballroom dance and I just had my very first pair of Latin shoes. I feel SUPER comfortable in them, and consultant at the local store said that they fit me perfect… but now I’m not sure about it, since when I point my foot I have A LOT of space. Is that a normal thing? I came from ballet and I don’t know much about this stuff, excuse me if my question is dumb😭
