He’s been linked to loads of projects but he’s taking a year off this year so next year what would you want him to star in ?

I really want him to star in a French movie, he said in an interview some time ago that he wants to do a French movie. Wonka is a no from me, I think high side would be really good but I don’t have much faith in James mangold. Playground would also be really interesting to see.

Am I going mad, or are there an huge number of blockbuster movies dropping this year? And I don’t just mean indie films I mean actual, big-budget studio releases.

We’ve already had Michael, Toy Story, minions, The Odyssey and Project Hail Mary, and we’re still getting Spider Man, End of Oak Street, The Dog Stars, Colony, Hope, Resident Evil, Heart of the Beast, Sense and Sensibility, Digger, Verity, The Uprising, The Social Reckoning, Whale Fall, Clayface, Fatherland, Godzilla, Pressure, Wild Horse Nine, The Cat in the Hat, Fjord, Ebenezer, I Play Rocky, The Hunger Games, Focker in Law, Dune, Avengers Doomsday, and Werewulf.

My bank account can’t keep up and that’s not even half of them. Every single one seems to have A-list actors too. It genuinely feels like everyone in Hollywood decided to release a movie this year. WTF. Is this normal 🤣

Okay, I just saw that Masters of the Universe is dropping on Prime in a week or so, and it got me thinking.

People always say Movies aren’t doing well at the box office because they’re slop. But I honestly think a huge reason is how quickly they’re sent to streaming.

A movie comes out, and just a few weeks later it’s already on Prime, Netflix, or another streaming service.

Then the studios wonder why people aren’t going to the cinema anymore. Why would I spend my hard earned money on tickets, snacks, and travel when I know I can just wait a few weeks and watch it at home as part of a subscription I’m already paying for?

That’s exactly why so many people see going to the cinema as a waste of time and money now.
It almost happened with Obsession. Just as it was starting to become a hit, there were talks of pushing it straight to streaming. Instead, they held off, and it kept making more and more money.

If they’d left it in cinemas even longer, I genuinely think it would have continued to perform well.
It’s frustrating. Give movies an actual theatrical run again leave them in cinemas for months if you have to. Stop rushing them onto streaming services just because companies like Amazon, Netflix, and others are willing to buy the rights.

I’ve always wondered if Kylie was talking to timothee before she and Travis broke up because something about the timeline doesn’t add up. Kylie and Travis officially split in January 2023, and then she and Timothée were linked by April 2023 that’s only a 2-3 months later. 🤣

People act like Timothee would never look at Kylie, but I honestly think he’s probably been interested in her for wayyyyy longer than people realize. He wasn’t just some random guy who showed up after the breakup. I feel like he was already in that circle and was probably aware of her for years.

Kanye, Kim, Pete, Cudi, and Timothée had all crossed paths in 2019 and had dinner together, and Kim even said both her gay friends and straight friends were into Timothée and Pete. Plus, him liking Kendall’s pictures years ago makes me think he’s been around that world for a long time.

I’m telling you, I wouldn’t be surprised if Timothée had been wanting Kylie for ages straight up waiting for the right time. 🤣 People underestimate how much these celebrity circles overlap behind the scenes.

What’s going on with Travis Scott? It feels like every time he’s in the news lately, it’s because of some kind of controversy. Over the past month alone, there have been reports of an incident in Monaco where he allegedly arrived late to a set and ended up taking over another performer’s stage and almost got into a fight. He’s also been linked to an alleged fight with Jordan Clarkson, and now he’s facing a lawsuit over an alleged drunken assault in Miami.

Like what’s happening I’m confused was he always even when he was with Kylie or is it a Media smear campaign.

No disrespect to either of them, but does anyone else get the weird feeling that Travis and Timothée lowkey compete with each other? 😂 It’s just something I’ve noticed over the past few months. Maybe I’m completely bugging, but there are so many little things that seem to link them, even though they’re never actually in the same place.

For example:
Timothee does an Adidas campaign, then Travis drops a Nike ad.

Timothee does the Marty Supreme promo with Lamine Yamal, then Travis posts a picture with Yamal and Barcelona even did a Travis collab a while back.

Timothees obviously been making waves with films like Dune, and now Travis is in The Odyssey and seems to be getting into acting too. Even during the Oscar’s when Timothee didn’t win Travis posted a photo of MBJ even though they’re not mutuals, obvs it’s probs just celebrating black excellence in Hollywood but still it’s funny.

Timothee even rapped on an EssDeeKid song. Travis is obvs a rapper.

It’s like they’re in this weird little bubble where one does something and then, somehow, the other ends up doing something similar. I’m probably reading way too much into it, but it’s funny once you start noticing all the little coincidences.

You know what I don’t get? People only seem to complain that an actor is in everything when it’s someone they don’t like.

Take Rob for example. He’s in pretty much every major blockbuster coming out this year and more but you never see people asking, “Why is he in everything? Whereas, Zendaya who’s only in 3 three movies 1 minor role and 2 big roles gets constant comments about being in everything.
The same goes for Tom, who’s only in two movies this year, and Timothée, who’s typically only in one movie a year.

At this point, just say you don’t like the persons acting and move on. Respectfully.

I was thinking about this recently, and I feel like the Kardashians’ cultural relevance is slowly starting to slip. Not by a huge amount, but it’s definitely not what it used to be. If they genuinely wanted to become must watch TV again and get back to the level they were once at, what do you think would actually do it?

Personally, I think the one thing that could really bring them back into the spotlight would be making the show a lot more open and authentic. They’d need to bring more people from their real lives into the series and show what their day to day lives are actually like. I know it’ll probably never happen, especially with people like Timothée, Jacob, Lewis, etc., because they all value their privacy, but if they were willing to appear on the show, it would be absolute prime TV. Just imagine like seeing the behind the scenes of timothees acting life or them going on dates or Kim going to Lewis’s races etc.

I’d also love to see more behind the scenes moments going to parties, hanging out with friends, preparing for events, travelling, and just the everyday interactions that we never get to see. Instead of feeling so produced and polished, it could have more of a sitcom style vibe, almost like Modern Family, where the entertainment comes from watching their personalities and relationships rather than everything being centred around business meetings and carefully curated storylines.

Just imagine how funny a Christmas episode would be with like the whole family + their bfs etc and it gets all awkward and stuff because there’s some controversy online etc that’s absolute prime TV.

What do you think is going to happen with the next generation of the Kardashian’s, will KUWTK ever end, will it carry on and then slowly incorporate their kids etc I’m intrigued. They’ve created a dynasty and when you’re earning that much money it’s kinda hard to let it go.

What is this obsession with babying Tom Holland?
I get it he seems like a genuinely nice, down to earth guy. He comes across as someone who’d be fun to grab a drink with. But I don’t understand why that seems to affect how people judge his acting.

The odyssey, for example. Whenever his performance is criticized, the response is always something like, “It’s his first big dramatic role,” or, “He was fine, he was just surrounded by better actors.” I don’t really understand that.

He’s 30 years old. He’s been acting since he was a kid, has starred in multiple major blockbusters, and he’s literally Spider-Man. This I isn’t some newcomer trying to find his footing. He’s one of the biggest movie stars in the world.

People also act as if he never had opportunities to improve his filmography. He absolutely did. With his level of fame and influence, he could have done more challenging roles if he’d wanted to. If he chose not to, that’s gis choice, aand that’s fine but then people shouldn’t pretend he’s still an inexperienced actor who deserves endless leeway.

If almost any other actor gave the same performance in The Odyssey, they’d be criticized. With Tom, it feels like people make excuses because they like him as a person.

At this stage of his career, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect more. When you’re this experienced and this successful, you shouldn’t still be “finding your feet” every time you’re asked to do something outside your comfort zone.

2027 has the potential to go down as one of the greatest and most controversial Oscar races we’ve seen in years.

Just look at the Best Actor conversation alone: Ryan Gosling (Project Hail Mary), Robert Pattinson (Primetime), Tom Cruise (Digger), Matt Damon (The Odyssey), Timothée Chalamet (Dune), Sam Rockwell (Wild Horse Nine), Jesse Eisenberg (The Debut), Jeremy strong (social reckoning) and that’s only scratching the surface.

Then there’s Best Picture. Right now, The Invite is my movie of the year so far. Honestly, everyone in that cast deserves an acting nomination, whether it’s in Lead or Supporting.

We’ve also got Obsession with indie, Social Reckoning with Mikey Madison, Werewolf and The Odyssey generating plenty of awards buzz.

At this point, I genuinely have no idea how this year’s Oscars are going to play out and that’s what makes it so exciting. If these films live up to the hype, the 2027 Oscars could be remembered as one of the most competitive, unpredictable, and talked about ceremonies in a generation. Oh yeh and Fjord like there’s actually so many movies.
