[Datamined] The infamous kaon under siege dilemma.

I was searching through Swtor conversation viewer, and found something interesting. The devs apparently put companion approvals in the kaon under siege flashpoint.

The infamous kaon under siege dilemma, where the choices for the Empire and the Republic, have different values systems. With mercy killing being dark for the Republic, and light for the Empire.

And the "spare" option, being this weak, taking a life not in self defense is morally wrong mindset [Republic], or letting the person suffer for sadistic curiosity [Empire].

According to the Republic approvals, no one likes the light side option. So the republic companion characters are not programed to being stupid in universe. Except maybe Nadia, who is the only one who dislikes the mercy killing option.

For the Empire, the entire companion roster are much more opinionated [including the final choices] than their Republic counterparts.

The only other thing that's noteworthy, is Blizz's disapproval for the mercy killing. It's clear if we look at Blizz's characterization, the reason he dislikes the mercy killing, is because he's too pure a character😔.

At least he knows letting people get turned into Rakghoul for cruel reasons, is evil, with that great disapproval.
