What is the Italian concept of bitter food at the end of a meal, as mentioned by Tony in this episode?

I've been rewatching Parts Unknown on YouTube and in the episode titled, "Tony Finds Healing and Inner Peace in Japan | Season 8 Episode 3," Tony, sharing a meal with Chef Masa Takayama & friends, mentions the Italian concept of eating something bitter at the end of a hearty meal to remind one of the sadness.

I wanted to know what he said. I could only catch the "__dolce" at the end. I've searched online and the only thing that comes up is "digestivo." The YouTube captions yielded no results.

The timestamp for the YouTube video where Tony mentions it is 16:39.

Thank you in advance to the people who can answer! The first time I heard this was on cable TV. Rewind was hardly a thing back then but even now, the word escapes me. 😅

For work: tablet or laptop?

Hi, everyone!

I use a desktop for work but I want to do more traveling this year, so I'm in the market for a more portable device.

Right now, I'm eyeing the Xiaomi Pad 8.

Work tasks that I'll be doing on this device include:

- Wordpress dashboard

- Canva

- Article writing

Will a tablet be enough to run these tasks smoothly? (fingers crossed it is bc tablets seem easier to carry around.)

If not, I'd be grateful for recommendations for laptops and/or tablets from brands you guys think are good alternatives (and share your Xiaomi Pad 8 horror stories, if there are any lol 😬).

I prefer Android over iOS and will mostly be using Google Workspace.

Thank you in advance!
