Work Stress and Health

Hello, I need some frank advice on my situation. I am an early career GI actuary in the UK with 3 years experience (qualified), working at a consultancy.

I have an autoimmune disorder which impacts my life, though it may not be directly visible on the outside.

I am usually okay, however stress is a big trigger for my health condition. With the financial year end just around and workload having increased, my symptoms have relapsed and I have gotten very sick again.

Something similar happened last year also just around the busy season. My company is supportive and let me take days off as I need them.

However, I wonder if this is sustainable in the longer term. Are there any particular roles less stressful which support my disability better? Would moving to industry help in any way?

TIA

Mixed Signals - Inexperienced Guy (24M)

So, I met this beautiful British girl in Liverpool around my age through board games. We chatted for a good while when we first met.

We share a common interest in dancing and she asked me for my Instagram before I left the same night after board games.

After that, I hosted a couple of my friends including her at mine to watch football and we had a good conversation again. We were alone in my flat for a short while when the other friends went clubbing. That time, she confided in me about the reason why her previous relationship broke up which felt very cute.

I occasionally chat to her on Instagram and she does reply in a couple of hours or so. However, I am not to sure if there is any romantic spark or if it is just platonic.

Should I risk asking her out? I don't want to make things awkward as we are in the same friend group and have a common group chat, tho relatively new to each other.

I have no experience in dating and I am international

so not very sure what can be considered as a good romantic signal also in the UK.

Trying to Bulk up M24 50kg 5'8"

I have been disastrously skinny all my life (have slightly improved but still am).

I fight a constant battle with crohn's disease but try and hit the gym 3-4 times a week (focusing on compound movements)

What you think of me body? What should I target more of to look aesthetic? TIA

Colonoscopy Results are In!

Me -

24yo male diagnosed about a year ago with mild-medium crohn's in terminal ileum in May last year.

Medications -

Oral mesalazine 2g twice a day ever since with a brief 3 month course of budesonide when I had a flare ish sort of thing abt 6 months ago...

Condition -

I have been okay to the most part since diagnosis besides bloating after meals and loss of appetite/difficulty gaining weight....

The nhs gastroenterologist referred me for the colonoscopy when I was having the flare 6 months ago (only got my appointment today haha)

Results -

Didn't choose sedation, looking at the screen all throughout haha...The bowel looked okay and the clinician told me that he didn't see any inflammation/ulcers in my large intestine/terminal ileum..

Does this mean I am in remission? I don't generally feel different from when I was diagnosed but the bloating is a little less frequent now...Any thoughts from folks who have experienced something similar?
