Last for high instep?

Hello, all.
Lover of all high quality footwear, but have yet to get into Viberg.
Sizing is main concern with the CA sizes and having high instep.
I typically go HTB length 11.5-12 in US brands which helps also move out the instep.
I could wear 11 US is instep was high but would probably go 11.5 US to be sure.

Wondering about 2050 but read conflicting reviews of the fit. Maybe 2030 which seems very common.

Opinions?

A little extra?

New smooth ostrich AB and appears someone skipped a step and left a little too much rough fuzz on the leather….

Steerhide experience

Just got some pre owned boots that are steerhide as compared to cowhide or other leather.
Curious if anyone can speak to their experiences with owning and wearing boots of steerhide?
AI claims it is thicker and sturdier than cowhide, and may patina differently?

Thanks.

Anyone own any of the Rios of Mercedes roper boots they do for KR Saddle Shop?

It might not be for everyone, but I love the simplicity of the build, no exotic 😳 no fancy “bling” just a great quality roper style, very low key. Fly under the radar.

Anyone who owns or has worn both, can you tell difference in fit? I have the BB unlined version and debating on lined.

Something I have noticed and would like opinions…

The lower wide heel and wider square toe I believe was popularized by AB in the 1990’s. Rios the parent company is much older, and seems to stick more to cutter toe and higher heels?

Ryan (the owner) posted to Instagram lately about some Big Bass from back when they were a prototype, and I wanted to replicate but seems it would best be done by AB.

I believe it was early 2023 the Nochaway Cavalier was released as a limited 125th Anniversary edition of 125 pairs.

Any chance something similar would come around again or is that likely out of the question?
