can i teach myself piano successfully?

hi! im a clarinet player in my schools band and marching band going into my 5th year playing and was wondering if i could successfully teach myself piano? i have a keyboard at home. i know its possible to teach yourself basics but do you think considering ive had experience learning another instrument i could get decently far along by myself?

do yall think i got the job?

today i had an interview and i think it went really well but im unsure if i actually got the job or not, or how likely it is. it was only about 5 minutes long. she asked about my availability and then my hobbies and how i handle stress (i got nervous clearly and didnt have a great answer but i said i work better under stress and she smiled? so ig thats good lol).

and after that just asked what highschool i go to, she said she'd set up a second interview. im scheduling that interview right now online actually. she said it was to see if scheduling lines up? does that mean i probably will be offered the job? i applied for hostess and said that foh is my preference but im flexible and ill work whatever they need that fits my hours.

dancers who began very late, what's it been like for you?

im 16 and interested in ballet; unfortunately i wont be able to start for several more years. i wish i had began sooner, ive always wanted to be a professional dancer and i know its too late for that. but im curious what it was like for those who started later than my age? are you en pointe and have you danced in productions?

im currently a sophomore in highschool and ive really been struggling with my grades. ive always been smart and im still on track for honors (well sort of), but its my own laziness and forgetfulness. which i am working on and have been doing better on recently but still doesnt offset my previous bad grades.

my cumulative gpa the past 3 semesters is 3.3 weighted, 2.9 unweighted, which isnt great but not terrible. however this semester has been really rough for me. like my mom is worried i wont graduate on time or ill have to do community college.

i have a 66.7, 60.1, and 61.1 in algebra II, chemistry, and french III. the way my school weights grades is basically 80% semester and 20% final. and i have to get a C or better (i can retake classes without it impacting my honors diploma, but the initial grade stays on my transcript.) im not as worried about algebra, its mostly a homework and effort thing and with a little more work and a good final i think i could pass it. but the other two im really concerned and ik mathematically at the moment i wont pass unless i get them up a lot.

i guess i just wanted to hear if anyone has recovered from smth like this and still gotten into a decent college and graduated on time. the main two im going for are IU (indiana university) and purdue university which are not very competitive but im still really concerned. i either want to go into medicine(possibly nursing) or finance and both are very difficult fields from what ive heard.

please give any advice especially if youve been in a similar situation. unless its just yelling at me to be more responsible or something, im really working on it and ive already been lectured enough by my parents, so ik my situation is bad.

also on extracurriculars, the only ECs i have are swim from 6th-9th grade and band which will be from 7th-12th, marching from 10th-12th.

i might have to retake chemistry and french III (my own fault, missing assignments and not studying caught up to me) and i just don't wanna feel alone especially since I'm planning to graduate w honors 😓

f16, i have terrible posture. like to the point where measured at the doctor i am 5'5, but when walking around people who are about 5'1, they think im the same height as them 😭😭 im wondering if i could actually be taller and years of poor posture couldve compressed my spine? im also young so while i know it is possible i guess im moreso asking about gaining height at my age. i lean my shoulders far inward and have a forward head, and i dont have strong enough muscles to maintain straighter posture at the moment (need to start working out)
