First time playing DnD

I'm playing my session zero in a few days, and until then I am creating a character. So far, I have a pretty decent class, race, and backstory Imo. If anyone has any feedback on the logistics of my character's backstory, that would be great.

Bonus Question... How do I go about assigning points since this character technically has two different classes?

This character is a Dragon-Blood, Half-Elf Rogue (Draconic Rogue). I hope I didn't shoot too far with this... here's his story.

Jakar Verys

He is a dragon-blooded half-elf born to parents who work as thieves and spies. He grows somewhat larger than his parents but remains comparatively small among others of his kind.

He learns many skills from his parents in his youth, including stealth, agility, infiltration, observation, and moving unnoticed.

He eventually discovers that he is a descendant of the ancient emerald dragon Raulothim. His bloodline traces back to an elf who was with Raulothim before he descended into mass paranoia

He discovers that his dragon blood carries a latent magical power, allowing him to wield magic he never knew he possessed.

Wanting to be different than his parents while learning more about his mysterious bloodline, he travels to Ruathym, where he seeks both answers about his ancestry and an opportunity to join a guild to do good for the world.

He finds and joins a guild that recognizes his natural talent and teaches him disciplined and precise fighting skills. He takes their training and runs with it, developing an exceptional ability to strike with speed, accuracy, and efficiency.

Over time, the guild gradually reveals its darker nature. They force him to carry out increasingly inhumane acts, threatening the livelihood and safety of his parents and younger sister if he refuses.

He eventually becomes a highly skilled assassin, favoring a lightweight weapon suited to his precise and agile fighting style, potentially the Wind Walker Blade.

As his abilities continue to develop, he gains knowledge about his ancestry and slowly but surely learns how to access the magical power that lies within

Realizing that the life he has been forced into is not the life he wants, he devises a plan to escape. Knowing the guild would pursue him and threaten his family, he fakes his own death.

Freed from the guild’s grasp, he disappears under a series of disguises. He continues to practice and understand his newfound magic while keeping his true identity hidden.

Now free from the life he once lived, he waits for the right opportunity to step back into the world as someone who can finally use his abilities for something meaningful.

Please let me know how I did!

Roommate wants to get a second cat but I’m allergic

I (24M) have been living with my roommate/best friend (24F) for about a month now. We’ve been friends for around three years. She has a cat, and I’m allergic.
Before moving in, we tried to minimize the problem as much as possible. We have hardwood floors instead of carpet, leather furniture, air purifiers, and I avoid touching the cat unless I have to. So far it’s actually gone better than I expected. I’ve only had 2–3 times where my eyes started getting itchy enough that I just went to my room for the rest of the night. Overall, it’s been manageable. I also want to add that I actually like cats—I just have to keep my distance because of my allergies.

Recently she’s been talking about getting a second cat so her current cat has a companion. I understand where she’s coming from, and I do think the idea is sweet, but I’m honestly uncomfortable with it. My concern is that a second cat would mean more dander and allergens throughout the apartment. Maybe I’d still be fine, but there’s also a chance my allergies would become a daily problem instead of only flaring up occasionally.
I know one question people will probably ask is, “Why did you move in with someone who already had a cat?”
Originally, I didn’t want to. The cat wasn’t part of the plan. She ended up taking in a kitten from a coworker and tried to have her family take it, but they said no. At that point she decided to keep it. She assured me she’d take every precaution possible to reduce the allergens, and because she’s one of my closest friends and I really wanted to move out, I decided to give it a chance.

Now I’m wondering if I’d be unreasonable for telling her I’m not okay with adding a second cat. I don’t want to tell her what she can or can’t do, but I also feel like it’s fair to not want to increase something that already affects my health.

TLDR; My roommate wants to get a companion cat for her cat and I think two cats instead of one cat with increase my allergies, because I am allergic to cats.
