I have a question regarding the future of Donghua localization and partnerships with the Japanese voice-acting industry.

Do you think we will ever get consistent Japanese dubs for major Donghua series in the future, or was something like The King's Avatar (Master of Skill) just a one-time miracle that will almost never happen again?

Personally, I can totally understand why Chinese studios don't bother with English dubs the language and flow just don't fit the anime/action vibe at all. But Japan is basically the father of anime, and their seiyuus (voice actors) are unmatched when it comes to delivering epic, serious, and high-aura performances.

A lot of modern Donghua (especially the big Xianxia/Cultivation and Sci-Fi shows) have incredible, gritty storylines, peak progression, and zero fan-service—which is exactly what a lot of hardcore anime fans are starving for. This kind of writing fits the epic Japanese voice-acting style perfectly. Hearing a top-tier voice actor over a cold, strategic, and dominant MC completely changes the experience.

Is the licensing, cost, or geopolitical barrier just too high for Japanese networks (like Aniplex) to regularly dub these massive Chinese projects? Or do you think the market will eventually force more Japanese dubs as Donghua keeps growing globally?

I am so fucking furious right now. What kind of absolute subhuman motherfuckers write a peak character like Kamina just to fucking butcher him 8 episodes in?! He carried the entire show on his back, and these brain-dead writers just threw him in the trash for absolutely nothing.

Right now, 99% of new anime are just copy-paste garbage isekais and pathetic simp-bait photocopies. But you know what? I’d honestly rather watch that mindless simp garbage than this absolute betrayal.
